AMELIAS POV

Hearing his voice go sympathetic and the fact he wanted to talk was making me extremely uneasy

"Oh um I" I say hesitantly

"Come on sis it's just a talk" he replied

"Fine" I sigh giving in

"Great now why have you been avoiding the office" he asked giving a small nod to Selena

"Oh uh I mean um" I say hesitantly

"I want the truth Amelia" he replied knowing I was thinking of what to say

"I don't know it's just I don't want this to be like it was when I was a kid Austin you know I dreaded coming here and I guess nothing has changed" I reply

"You are over due for things sis, I know you won't get through everything right now and I don't want to push you but I do at least want you to at least get the vaccines you're due for so while we wait for you to come in for a proper physical we can make sure you don't get really sick" he said sympathetically

"Nope I'm good thanks" I say hesitantly as Selena came with a tray

"Come on sis it won't be that bad we can do this like old times if you'd like" Austin said grabbing the tray from Selena

"Or we could just not do this right now in front of the kids" I reply

"One second" Selena said going into the lab

She came back out with there nurse Jodi and turned to the girls

"Paige Dallas do you want to go with Jodi she's going to show you girls our toy chest in the back you guys can both pick something out" Selena said softly

The girls heard toy and both nodded excitedly and followed Jodi to the back room

"Great idea Sel, now that the kids aren't here let's get this done" Austin said going into the exam room

I kinda stayed outside the room not really wanting to do this

"Amelia you know Austin will wait until you agree to this he's got no other patients so you may as well just get this over with" Selena said

"I really can't, any time I think of needles now I think of me being held down through them and it's not a pretty sight" I reply nervously

"You need to talk to your brother about this, we can help you through it, here let's go on in I'll help you talk to him ok" Selena said softly

I nodded and hesitantly walked into the room with Selena right behind me closing the door behind us making me gulp

"It's ok I'm just shutting it for more privacy" Selena said softly as she pushed me further into the room so I wasn't right at the door

"Ok take a seat lets do this" Austin said

"Austin I think you should let Amelia tell you what's bothering her before you push her to do this I think it's important you take this into consideration with the approach your taking" Selena said starting the conversation

"Oh yeah of course I'm all ears" he said

I started explaining how I was feeling to him and to my surprise he actually sat there and listened to me for once

"Amelia if this is how you feel why didn't you come to me earlier we could have helped you with this long ago" Austin said

"You don't think I tried, you wouldn't listen to me Austin I was a kid and over reacting remember" I sigh

"I'm so sorry, I think my mind was so geared to keeping your physical health healthy I never fully took your mental health into account, I understand how your feeling, I still want you to get these shots done but I don't have to be the one to give them I'll be here for moral support this time" Austin replied

I nodded still extremely nervous about this

"Come take a seat" Austin said softly

I went over and sat down and Austin sat up beside me and Selena came over sticking the tray behind me so I couldn't see it

"There's 4 so we're going to do 2 in each arm, as normal I'll keep the more stinging ones for last" she said cleaning off both my arms

I was originally looking at Austin cause I don't trust him not going to poke me as well but Selena turned my head to be looking straight

"I'm going to be going quick just stay looking forward for me" she said softly
