A year later

AMELIA'S POV

"Amelia let's go it's checkup time" Austin yelled up the stairs

"No I'm not going" I yell back

"Amelia let's go, now" he yelled

"No" I yell back

Taylor came upstairs to my room and sat on the foot of my bed where I was hiding under my covers

"Talk to me hun what's going on" she asked

"I don't want a checkup" I cry

"Amelia your 11 now princess you've been through so many of these they should be a breeze to you by now, plus your not the only one getting a checkup all 3 of us are, we have to go support Selena's new office she worked so hard to get here and we're gonna be her first patients that's a big deal for her, we'll go have some fun after but we have to do this first" she said pulling my blanket down off of me

"C can I go last" I whimper

"Honestly hun Sel may want to do you first knowing how scared you are but we'll see when we get there, just promise me you'll be good for her and let her do what she needs to do ok" Taylor said softly making me nod

"Can I sit in your lap if I need shots or anything" I ask

"Yeah of course you can princess let's go we don't want to be late" Taylor said looking at her phone

I nervously followed her downstairs and we got into the car and Austin drove to Selena's new office. You see Selena finished med school meaning she was a fully licensed doctor and she just opened up a new clinic. Me and my siblings all being due for physicals Austin thought it would be a good idea for Selena to do them at her new office for the very first time. Needless to say I was not ready. We pulled up and got out of the car. I looked up at the clinic nervously gulping as I grabbed onto Taylor nervously and she gave me a sympathetic smile

"It'll be ok hun let's go" she said softly before heading inside holding my hand.
