Amelia's wisdom teeth

AMELIA'S POV

The next day, I returned to Taylor's office for my wisdom tooth removal. I was a bundle of nerves, knowing what to expect but terrified nonetheless. The thought of surgery made my stomach churn.

"Amelia, you ready?" Taylor asked, her voice steady and reassuring.

I nodded, though my hands trembled slightly. As I settled into the dental chair, I couldn't help but feel small and vulnerable. Taylor went through the preparations, explaining each step, which helped ease my anxiety a bit.

"We're going to use some sedation to keep you comfortable," she explained. "You'll feel sleepy, but I'll be right here with you the whole time."

The IV drip felt cold against my skin, and soon I began to feel drowsy. I fought against the wave of sleepiness, wanting to stay awake for my sister, but it was overwhelming.

"Don't fight it it's ok your safe here" Taylor encouraged

As my eyes fluttered shut, I felt a rush of fear mixed with trust. I knew Taylor would take good care of me. When I woke up, the first thing I noticed was the pain. My jaw felt sore and swollen, but as I blinked away the fog, I saw Taylor smiling down at me.

"You did it, Amelia! The surgery went well" she said proudly

"Is it over?" I croaked, my throat dry.

"Yes, all done. You'll need to rest, but I'll give you some medication to help with the pain," she assured me.

I felt a wave of relief wash over me. The worst part was behind me, and I knew I'd be okay. Later, as I sat recovering at home, I reflected on the past few days. My fears had been daunting. As the pain gradually subsided, I looked forward to brighter days ahead and getting over this stupid pain, my husband and kids played nurse till I recovered, it was nice being cared about so much
