Taylors checkup

TAYLORS POV

When Austin was done I felt a rush of anxiety through my body. Selena being my best friend made me feel a bit silly for being scared but I also hated being at the doctors so I think it was more the environment and what she was going to do rather then her herself

"Ok Tay your up" Selena said with a sympathetic smile already knowing this probably wasn't going to be an easy task to complete

"Ok" I reply nervously before going over and sitting on the table

"You'll be fine this'll be over in no time" she says encouragingly

I hesitantly nodded before she stuck the thermometer in my ear. She took it out noting down my temperature before grabbing the blood pressure cuff and putting it around my arm. She stuck her stethoscope in her ears and stuck the metal under the cuff checking my blood pressure

"It's a bit too high are you that nervous" she asked as she took the cuff off my arm

"I guess" I reply nervously as she started listening to my heart and lungs

"Hearts beating a bit fast too, just relax Tay you're doing great" she said softly

She took her stethoscope and put it around her neck again and all I can think about is needing shots cause I know I do I just also know I don't want them. She went ahead checking my ears nose and throat

"Ok can I just get you to lay down for a sec" She asked softly

"This isn't a trick to poke me is it" I ask nervously

"Taylor you know me better then that look i have no needles on me I promise I just wanna check your stomach really quick" she said showing me her hands were empty

I gulped nervously before laying down. She started checking my stomach but I nervously watched her the entire time till she let me sit up

"We're going to check your reflexes quickly then we'll get these couple of shots done with Tay" she said softly before checking my reflexes

I immediately got startled and jumped down off the table

"Tay I'm sorry we're not done yet" Selena said sympathetically

"I know what comes next I'm not doing them" I reply backing into the corner

"Taylor your going to be ok but we have to get these done" she replied

"No thanks" I say nervously

"Taylor she isn't asking you, she's telling you just get them done real quick they'll be over before you know it" Austin chimed in

"Of course you'd be on her side" I gulp

"The sooner you come and let me do these the sooner it will be all done and you can leave" Selena said

"No I can't" I say nervously

"We can do this in the corner if you prefer but I don't think that would be very fun for either of us Tay" she replied

I just really didn't want shots and both Austin and Selena knew that

"So it's upto you Taylor you can come on back over here and we can do this the easy way or I can come over there and we can do it the hard way" Selena stated

I hesitantly went over and sat back in the table not really wanting to do it any way

"Thanks" Selena said with a sympathetic look

She cleaned off my arm as I took nervous breaths trying to calm down

"Try and stay nice and still and keep that arm nice and relaxed for me" she said softly before poking the first needle in my arm

The poke made me panic and squirm away making the needle come out before she could push the medication through

"Taylor you can't be moving like that" Austin said coming over

"No I am not being held down" I say jumping down

I backed into the corner between the bed and the wall as they tried to come towards me

"Taylor I'm not joking, we will do it in the corner if we have to" Selena said as she changed the needle on the shot seeming to be a bit annoyed

"I just don't want the shots" I whimper

"You're not getting out of them Tef" Austin said

I wouldn't move so Austin and Selena came to the corner I was in. Austin held me down in the corner as Selena did the three shots I needed while I squirmed and cried pretty much the whole time

"Was that so difficult" Selena said as she stood up  and helped me up as I gave her a glare making her already know what my answer will be

We were all able to go finally and I honestly think watching me might of made it a bit more difficult on Amelia and may make her next appointment a bit difficult but I couldn't help that
