AMELIAS POV
Ugh when will this go away..... my stomach has been absolutely killing me and it's starting to become way too much. Getting pain killers here is like pulling teeth because my siblings don't like using them unless they're absolutely necessary so they keep them locked up in some safe cabinet I don't have the passcode to. There's no way I can tell them about this either they'd go all medical mode on me. I stumbled my way downstairs but going on laying on the couch
"Hey Amelia are you good" Austin asked kinda concerned with my facial reactions
"Huh, oh me, ya I'm fine" I lie
I stayed lying on the couch honestly not wanting to move. My stomach was still absolutely killing me but it seemed a bit less without moving. A couple hours later my pain started getting worse instead of better and it was kind of worrying me. I buckled over in tears in pain just wishing it would stop
"Hey hun, are you sure your ok" Taylor asked sympathetically
I sigh shaking my head no before looking up at them all tear stained
"What's wrong" Austin asked sympathetically
"M my stomach" I whimper holding onto the lower right side of my abdomen.
"Amelia where's it hurting" Austin asked panicked as he jumped up grabbing his phone off the kitchen table
"Lower right side" I whimper.
Him and Taylor looked at each other making my sister run and grab her car keys
"Amelia I don't wanna scare you hun but we need to go to the hospital like now" Austin stated
"Hospital? Austin no" I whine
"Your not getting the choice hun your showing signs of appendicitis and if that's the case you need that appendix removed as soon as possible" Austin said sympathetically
"Removed" I ask nervously
"Amelia we don't have time to explain right now let's go" Austin sighed picking me up and carrying me to the car
Taylor rush drove us to the hospital and Austin ran me inside
"Grab me a general surgeon stat" he said as we went passed the nurses station into a room
"Austin your scaring me" I whimper
"I'm sorry hun you're ok you're in good hands I promise" he said lifting up my shirt and squeezing cold gel on it
"We're just gonna take a quick look at your appendix just to see if that's the cause hun" he said sympathetically before using his camera and looking around as another doctor came in
"That's ruptured for sure" the other doctor said making me panic
"Hey hun your ok, this is Coda he is going to help your pain go away ok" Austin said sympathetically as he rustled through drawers before coming back to my arm
"I'm scared" I say nervously
"You'll be alright we're going to put you to sleep for a little bit" Austin said softly as he wiped off the back of my hand
"Austin you may be moving a bit too fast for her she's panicked" Coda said coming over and pressing down on my stomach making me scream
"Ok go" he added making Austin poke an iv in my hand taping it down and slowly pushing medications through it making me get woozy and sleepy till I blacked out
A LITTLE WHILE LATER
I slowly started waking up hearing my name being called softly. I opened my eyes looking up seeing my sister and brother
"How are you feeling" Austin asked
"I'm ok" I reply
"You did so good hun you were so brave" Taylor said softly
"Thanks" I reply
We stayed a while so they could monitor me before we were finally able to go back home. I was happy to go back to my own bed and be comfortable to recover
