AMELIAS POV

"I'll be gentle Amelia, I promise, but we need to do these we can do this quick and get you out of here but you need to cooperate with me" Selena said sympathetically as she grabbed a tray from the desk that I didn't even notice was there

"I can't" I whine jumping off the table and hiding behind my sister

"Amelia the faster we get this done the faster it's over, I'm sure you'd way rather do this then get really sick" Taylor said softly

"No I can't" I cry

"Do you need me to go get your brother" Selena asked

I broke down completely on the floor in the corner of the room

"Amelia honey she doesn't want to hurt you these are just going to keep you healthy that's all, and the blood test is just to check things she can't tell from a physical exam alone, it'll be ok you can squeeze my hands the whole time and I'm not going to leave you" Taylor said encouragingly

"Promise" I whimper

"Yes I promise, you're 16 now these shouldn't hurt you as much as they did when you were little" Taylor said softly as she pushed me back towards the examination table

I hesitantly sat back on the table and she sat up beside me keeping my hand in hers and giving it an encouraging squeeze

"I'm just going to clean your arm first hun I have no needles yet just a alcohol wipe, it'll just be a little cold" Selena said softly before wiping my arm off

I squeezed my sisters hand really tightly and could feel my stomach turning

"Just try and relax for me sweetheart, the more relaxed you are the less you'll feel it" she warned before grabbing the first needle off the tray

She squeezed onto my arm poking the first one in making me jump

"I'm sorry I didn't warn you, are you ok" Selena asked sympathetically as she took it out and poked the second one in

"Ya" I wince

She took it out sticking a bandaid on my arm and grabbing a tourniquet wrapping it around my arm

"I'm just going to take blood from this arm then I'm going to have you and your sister swap spots cause we've got two more shots after this" Selena said as she felt the crook of my arm

I looked at my sister with my tear stained eyes and she gave me a sympathetic smile

"I know this isn't fun hun but your doing so well, your almost done" she said trying to distract me as Selena poked the butterfly needle in my arm making me jump

"Your ok I'm sorry" Selena said drawing the blood she needed before taking the needle out of my arm and sticking a bandaid on

My sister jumped off the table sitting on the other side of me as Selena went to the side Taylor was originally on

"I need 4 shots a blood test and still need to go to the dentist" I whimper as Selena wiped off my other arm

"The dentist appointment will be easier than this hun" Taylor said as Selena poked the 3rd shot in my arm making me cry out

"I know, sorry, these ones sting a bit more, that's why I kept them for last" Selena said taking it out poking in the last one

She took it out putting bandaids on my arms and I was just happy to be done. We left the office and went over to Joe and Taylor's shared dental office, I was just ready to go home
