it was 5 days later and both me and Jay were sitting in the NICU holding the twins, today made the twins were one week old and there were doing amazingly well.

one of the nurses came in and smiled at us "so I heard you have decided on baby names" she said and we nodded. the nurse picked up the birth certificates which was filled in except the names.

"so what is a little man named, "she asked.

"This is Elijah William Halstead," I said.

"and little girl," she asked.

"We went with Aurora Hailey Halstead," Jay said.'

"both beautiful names and lastly do you have godparents for the twins," the nurse asked and we nodded telling her the godparents.

she then left and left us a pen so we could write their names on the sticker that was above their cots.

it was a couple of hours later and both the twin were asleep and there was a knock at the door and it opened to be both Hailey and Will.

"you called us," Hailey asked.

"yeah sit down," Jay said and they both looked at us confused.

"so we thought that we would tell you both their names before the others," I said.

"why," Will said.

"oh you would want to know," Jay said.

"What are they," Hailey said.

"so I would like you both the meet your goddaughter and son Elijah William Halstead and Aurora Hailey Halstead," I said and their jaws dropped.

"Did I hear that right our god kids," Hailey said stunned?

"of course, we instantly thought of both of you," Jay said.

they both hugged us and we let them hold the twins and about twenty minutes later they left just us four.

"I can't wait for then to come home," Jay said.

"same didn't the doctor say because they were doing so well that they could come home next Friday," I asked and he nodded.

"so only what 6 days until we have the babies home," I said.

"yep, we need to get that nursery finished," Jay said.

"let's go then I bet these munchkins have had enough of us for a couple of hours," I said.

"yeh we can come back later," he said and we got our jackets kissed the twins goodby and we drove home to start on the nursery.

we got into some old clothes and started to paint the nursery.

"you know we are going to have to move out in a couple of years," Jay said who was painting around the edges of the wall so no paint went on the ceiling or the bottom of the wall.

"why do you say that," I asked.

"well, one this is an apartment no bad yards for the twins to run about secondly there won't be enough room for all four of us it will be crammed. thirdly it's only two bedrooms I don't think they would want to share a room forever" he said making a good point.

"that is true but I think we have what a year until we need to start to move," I said painting the middle of the walls.

we continued to paint when there was a knock at the door

"you expecting anyone," I said putting the paint roller down and walking out the room.

"Not that I know of," Jay said.
