The second he had settled at a table at Panda Express in the student union with his dinner for the night, Jungkook was opening his laptop and opening a word document to start on the Art History paper he had been assigned just a couple of days earlier. He had just finished what he considered to be a top notch introductory paragraph when someone approached him. "Hi, Jungkook~" He looked up and recognized a girl from his drawing class.

"Oh, hey, Dahlia." He greeted, lowering his laptop screen and pushing it away slightly so that the open word document wouldn't distract him, as he didn't want to be rude.

"I saw you sitting over here and I just wanted to compliment you on your still-life in class earlier. It turned out amazing!" The assignment Dahlia was referring to was in the class they had just come out of where their professor had given them an array of common snack foods to choose from to draw. Jungkook had chosen popcorn, and Dahlia was now the fifth person to compliment him on how his drawing had turned out.

Jungkook smiled shyly, never having been one to be comfortable with being complimented. "Oh, thanks~"

"I wish I could draw as good as you! Where did you get so good?"

Jungkook pushed his orange chicken around as he shrugged. "I've kind of been doing it my whole life. Even in preschool I rarely left the art center."

Dahlia giggled and played with the ends of her hair, which weirded Jungkook out, but he wasn't going to point it out. "Maybe you could teach me?"

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Uh..."

"Like, you could come over to my dorm on, say, Friday, and we can order in pizza, and you can-"

Jungkook finally realized what was going on and he decided to shut Dahlia down before it went too far. "Yeah, I'm gay."

Dahlia's eyes widened at Jungkook's confession. "You are?" Jungkook nodded in response, slowly pulling his laptop closer to himself. "I thought I overheard you talking to Colton about how you both played football?"

"So, because I was a football player, I can't be gay?" Jungkook tried not to make it obvious that he was slightly annoyed by the assumption, but some things are out of one's control.

"No, that's not-I just-I'm sorry, I-" Dahlia paused and took a deep breath. "I'm really sorry about this, I didn't mean to offend you. I'm just gonna go before I make things more awkward." Jungkook nodded as she gathered up her food. "I'll see you in class on Monday."

"Bye~" Jungkook didn't put any emotion behind the word as he turned back to his paper.

He had just started typing again when he was interrupted again. "I could tell that she was doomed the second she walked up." Jungkook looked to his right at the male sitting at the table next to his. "I'm Mingyu~" He introduced himself.

"I'm Jungkook." Jungkook responded.

"It's nice to meet you~" Jungkook nodded that he agreed. "I'm guessing from that disaster of a conversation that you're an art major?"
