Jennie and Jimin lay curled up together in his bed, their legs intertwined as he ran his fingers through her hair. "I believe you were telling me how excited you are for your government class this year~" Jimin stated, nudging his girlfriend's cheek with his nose. "You know, before you distracted me?"

Jennie scoffed playfully. "You were the one that couldn't keep his lips off of me!" Halfway through her exclamation, Jimin had begun pressing kisses to her cheek. "Kind of like right now~" She pushed his head away and gave him a look.

"Okay, I'm listening now." Jimin smiled at her while slowly moving his face closer to hers.

"Are you really?" Jennie raised her eyebrow, showing that she didn't fully believe him.

"Yes," Jimin said definitively, but quickly changed his answer. "Wait~" He quickly closed the small gap between them and placed his lips on hers, sharing a few short kisses with her before pulling back. "Now I am."

Jennie laughed at the cuteness of her boyfriend before going back to the conversation that had been taking place before they'd started to make out shortly after she'd arrived at the house. "As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted," she playfully glared at Jimin, "I think this government class will be really good for me. It focuses on the legal system and the different types of cases that go through court, and it could help me finally decide what kind of law I want to go into." Jennie had realized during the previous school year that she was interested in becoming a lawyer and had registered to take this class her senior year in order to pursue that interest. Over the summer she had fully decided that she wanted to do pre-law in college and was now trying to decide on what type of law she wanted to practice in the future.

"You should do family law~" Jimin said, resting his forehead against Jennie's. "That way, when you become the best lawyer in the county, and I become the second best social worker, we could work on cases together. We can be a power couple."

Jennie laughed, tilting her head so her nose rubbed against Jimin's. "I'm pretty sure that's a conflict of interest." Jimin made a noise as if asking her to elaborate as he searched for her hand, intertwining their fingers as soon as he found it. "What if I'm representing someone who's trying to get their kid back when they're not fit to be a parent? You would be trying to keep the kid away from them to keep them safe while I would be trying to convince the court that the kid needs to be with the parent."

A soft smile graced Jimin's features as he looked into his girlfriend's eyes. "Then it'll be conflict at work and interest at home." He punctuated his sentence with a kiss to Jennie's nose.

Jennie giggled again as Jimin's lips touched her nose. "You're a dork~" His lips then landed on hers, and she smiled into the kiss, pulling her hand out of Jimin's to rest it on his cheek as she pulled away slightly. "I love you~" She whispered against his lips, and he repeated the words back to her before closing the distance between them again.

They pulled apart as someone knocked on Jimin's bedroom door, Taehyung's voice calling through the wood shortly after. "I'm home, and I'm coming in in five minutes regardless of which body parts are exposed!"
