The last day on the cruise before they would be back in America was spent in Cozumel. The family had different ideas of how they wanted to spend their day, which led to them splitting up so that they could all do what they were interested in. Jin and Namjoon opted for an all-inclusive beach day, wanting to just relax in the sun together. Yoongi, Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung chose to take the kids on a deep sea fishing trip, allowing Sophia and Kortni to have a refreshing day at a resort. Jungkook and Jayden had long planned on a couple day by going on an ATV tour.

Jungkook and Jayden had a good time riding their ATVs through the jungle reserve, and Jungkook was sure that they were finally through their rough patch. Every time they stopped for a break, they would hold hands, take pictures together, share sweet kisses, and Jayden would even compliment him on his drawing skills during the few times he pulled out his sketchbook for a quick drawing. When they got to the swimming area, Jayden decided he wasn't feeling up to getting in the water, so he sat on the edge while Jungkook immersed himself in the cool spring. While he was swimming, he bumped into someone that he had met years earlier at a football camp. He and the man greeted each other cheerfully and chatted with each other about how they had been over the years. They talked until it was time to get back on the ATVS and leave for the ship, at which point Jayden had fallen quiet.

On the fishing boat, the four brothers had a congratulatory beer, minus Taehyung who opted for a strawberry soda, to celebrate Taehyung's engagement while they waited for the driver to get the boat as far out into the ocean as it needed to be for them to fish. Once they got there, Yoongi held Presley and watched as his brothers helped the three youngest with their fishing poles, as Sammie was old enough that she could handle it by herself. He still stood close to her, though, just in case she decided she needed her Daddy's help. They didn't catch any fish, but the children enjoyed it, and seeing the smiles on their faces was enough for the adults on board.

On the beach, Jin was in a cuddly mood, resulting in him insisting on sharing a beach chair with Namjoon and lying on his chest rather than claiming a chair of his own. They passed the time intertwined with each other, their legs and hands interlocked, while sharing small kisses, occasionally partaking in light conversations. At one point, Jin sat up and started untangling himself from Namjoon. "I'm going to go get another drink, do you want anything?"

"Just a beer~" Namjoon replied, puckering his lips for a kiss before Jin left. Jin complied and gently pressed his lips to his husband's, pulling away before he could fall too deep into the act of affection.

Jin made his way to the open bar and ordered a beer for Namjoon and a Sprite and vodka for himself. As he was waiting for the drinks, a familiar female voice sounded from next to him. "You're Jin, right?"

Jin had to hold back a groan as he turned to face Namjoon's mother. There were a million things he wanted to do to her for hurting the man he loved, but as it was not in his nature to be actively rude (however, he was the king of being passive-aggressive), he instead opted to say, "Yes, hello~"

The older woman smiled at him, seemingly not even being aware of having done anything wrong in her life. "I thought maybe you and I could talk-"

"Why?" Jin cut her off as the bartender placed his drinks in front of him.

She seemed startled by Jin's abrasiveness but continued with her mission anyway. "Well, I've tried talking to Namjoon multiple times, but he won't even give me the time of day."

"For what I'm sure are obvious reasons." Jin responded, moving to pick up the drinks and walk back to his husband, but the woman stopped him again.

"Has Namjoon even told you what happened?" Jin responded by saying that no, Namjoon had not told him anything about what happened other than that he was no longer in contact with his parents because they didn't accept his sexuality. "That means that he hasn't told you that he was the one to sever our relationship, all because he couldn't agree with our Christian faith. Although I'm sure you probably wouldn't understand it either."
