"Of course, you're more than welcome to stay with me during Thanksgiving." Sammie said into the phone that she had pinned between her ear and shoulder, talking to Presley about the younger's plans to come back home for Thanksgiving. "Is Yeonjun coming?" She heard Presley start to respond just as she realized her 15-year-old son was still messing with his hair in the bathroom as he had been for nearly half an hour now. "Hold that thought-Jason! Hurry up or you're gonna be late for school!"

"I'm coming!" Jason called back in a stereotypical annoyed teenage boy tone.

"Of course, keep talking like that to me right before you go to the 'fun' parent's house." Jason grumbled something unintelligible back as Sammie put her phone back to her ear. "Sorry about that, you were saying?"

The sisters spoke about the 24-year old's boyfriend until Sammie had to leave to take Jason to school, nagging the 15-year-old all throughout the conversation to make sure he wasn't lollygagging. By the time she finally got the teenager to the high school, the warning bell had already rung, giving him only five minutes to get to his locker and then to geometry. Jason slid into his seat beside his cousin, Will, just as the tardy bell rang.

"My dad was right." Will comments to him while working on their bell ringer.

"About what?"

"That you take after Uncle Yoongi when it comes to punctuality."

Jason snorted. "He's just jealous that my grandpa is way cooler than him." William playfully swatted at his cousin's arm as their teacher walked in to begin class.

Jason left his world history class as the school day ended and walked down the hall to his father's classroom. "Hey, Dad!" He exclaimed as he walked in, seeing the 33-year-old male packing some test papers into his bag while mumbling under his breath, something he did whenever he was frustrated. "You ready to go home?"

Jake finally looked up at his son and forced a smile on his face. "Hey, buddy. Actually, what do you say we just have a boys' weekend?" Jason raised an eyebrow at his father. "Just the two of us without your stepmother or your little sister." The 15-year-old continued to stare at him. "We can go stay at a hotel and order pizza and stay up all night watching all the movies that your mom probably doesn't let you watch-"
