Request:
"I'd like to see a mom/daughter bonding drabble of Sophia, Sammie and Chloe. Maybe like Yoongi and Sophia celebrating an anniversary dinner, and the girls help mom get ready, and keep Yoongi from seeing until she's done. And Yoongi tries to lowkey send Presley in as an excuse to come peek, because he doesn't like being left out."

Notes:
There are autistic characters and a character with cerebral palsy in this. Do not comment anything offensive. If you have genuine questions, that is fine, but I do not tolerate ableism on any of my fics.

Sammie giggled and shyly tucked her hair behind her ear. The 15-year-old had been waiting outside the high school auditorium after school for her dad to pick her up, debating whether or not to wait inside in order to escape the cold December wind, when Jake McDaniel, one of the most popular boys in school, and a junior, walked up to her and initiated a conversation. "So, you got any plans for prom?" Jake asked her even though the dance was four months away.

Sammie gave a small laugh of confusion. "Well, considering I'm just a sophomore, and I don't have a date, I don't really have any plans." At Conway High School, sophomores weren't allowed to attend the prom unless an upperclassman filled out some paperwork at the office to get permission to take a sophomore as their date, which didn't happen very often.

Jake flashed her a smile that made most girls in the school swoon, but not Sammie. Definitely not. "Well you might want to start making plans, you never know when someone might ask you."

Sammie felt her cheeks heating up slightly and she began to fidget with the zipper of her coat. "And is that someone you?"

Jake shrugged. "Depends on your answer."

A smile slowly formed on Sammie's face as she nodded. "Yeah, I think it'd be fun."

It was then that Sammie realized that Jake had actually been extremely nervous, as he tried to subtly let out the breath he had been holding while talking to her. "I promise I'll do a better asking later after tickets go on sale."

Sammie giggled as Jake sheepishly scratched the back of his neck. "I think this one was pretty good."

They chatted for a few more minutes before Jake had to leave to get to his part time job, at which point Alessia ran up to Sammie. "Was that Jake McDaniel talking to you?!" Her best friend squealed, not believing that someone like Jake would talk to a measly old sophomore.

Sammie turned to face Alessia and said, "I think the actual question is 'was that Jake McDaniel asking you to prom'~" Alessia's eyes widened in excitement and the two teens started squealing until Sammie saw her dad pulling into the pick-up area. "Oh, my dad's here, I gotta go!" She gave her best friend a hug before bounding down the steps of the auditorium. "Hey, Daddy~" She greeted as she climbed into the front seat before looking over her shoulder at her two youngest siblings. "Hey, Presley. Hey, Adam." Presley slightly nodded her head in acknowledgement but didn't look up from her book about sharks, while Adam just continued to tug at his earlobe while looking out the window with no acknowledgement of his sister speaking to him.
