"Come on, let's go, up and at 'em, we're gonna be late!" Jin rushed through each of the boys' rooms with Jungkook propped on his hip, waking them up as quickly as he could while still being gentle. Winter was always a tough time of year as Jin struggled more with waking up early and getting to work on time during the colder months than he did the rest of the year. That struggle had only increased after the boys had been placed with him, hence why they were in such a rush.

Jungkook had been the one to get Jin out of bed that morning, and Jin thought that it would be best to go ahead and get the youngest member of the family dressed before waking the other boys up so that he wouldn't have to worry about him as much when the chaos of a morning with five boys under the age seven commenced. So, he had just grabbed a random shirt and pair of sweatpants from the toddler's dresser and put them on him before making his rounds. Now that he had begun waking them up, he set Jungkook on the ground with a comment of, "Go play until time for breakfast," and began laying out clothes for the boys to wear as soon as the two-year-old toddled off.

As he was pulling out clothes for Yoongi, he felt a tug on his pants that signified Jungkook's return. "Yes, Kookie?" He asked as he lay out a flannel shirt for the six-year-old that was pulling off his sheep pajamas after returning from the bathroom.

Jungkook pointed to another flannel shirt that was hanging up on Yoongi's side of the oldest two's closet. "Want~"

"You want Yoongi's shirt?" Jin asked, and the toddler nodded. Normally Jin would have gushed over how adorable it was that Jungkook was wanting to dress up in his older brother's clothes, especially since the young boy had been imitating all of his brothers, Jin, and even Namjoon once, since his second birthday, but since he was already in a rush that morning, he just removed the shirt from the hanger and helped Jungkook put his arms through it.

"I'm Yoongi!" The toddler exclaimed happily, the too big shirt appearing to swallow him.

"No, you're Kookie." Yoongi responded, pulling his shirt over his head.

"If he wants to be Yoongi today, then he can be Yoongi." Jin said ruffling Yoongi's hair lovingly as he pulled his flannel shirt on. "He's just playing pretend. I'll be in the kitchen to make breakfast as soon as I get dressed." Yoongi nodded as Jin left to go get dressed, Jungkook following close behind him. As they were passing by the bathroom, Jin stopped when he noticed Taehyung looking like he was nearly asleep while sitting on the toilet. "Tae Tae, you don't wanna fall asleep on the toilet, you might fall in!"

Taehyung jumped slightly as Jin's voice woke him back up, but he quickly shook it off. "I won't fall in!" During this exchange, Jungkook had toddled into the bathroom and went straight to the potty chair that he used on occasion now that he was potty training. Jin knew for a fact that Jungkook didn't need to use the bathroom, as he'd had a wet pull up upon waking up and had also peed a little bit on the potty right before Jin woke up the others, but he didn't say anything as the toddler pulled his pants and pull up down with a small amount of struggle and sat on his potty chair, smiling up at Taehyung and giggling a bit as soon as he was sitting.

Taehyung had started giggling too by the time Jin turned to continue his journey to his room. He came back out as while buttoning up his shirt, heading to the bathroom instead of the kitchen to make sure he didn't need to help Jungkook as the boy still couldn't quite pull his pants up by himself before making breakfast. He stopped and couldn't help but smile brightly as he saw Jungkook with a comb in hand attempting to comb out his hair the way Hoseok and Yoongi currently were (he also noticed that one of the two must have helped Jungkook pull his pants up as his lower half was fully clothed). "We're just having cereal this morning, so come on to the kitchen as soon as you're done."

After Jin dropped the older two off at the elementary school and arrived at the center with the younger three, and after taking Jungkook to the toddler room, he immediately started gushing to Jana about how much Jungkook looked up to the other four. His glee soon turned to sadness as he thought about how sad Jungkook would be if Yoongi and Hoseok were to be adopted by the interested couple that Jin had yet to meet as his own application to adopt the two of them was still being processed. The glee returned that evening as he returned home from Jimin's dance practice.

"Taehyung are you supposed to be riding that in the house?" Jin asked as he saw the three-year-old riding around the living room on his toy scooter. The three-year-old stopped immediately, smiling innocently at his caregiver before rushing off to his room to put it up, Jimin following after to change out of his dance clothes. Jin shook his slightly, a smile on his face as he walked to the kitchen where his mother was making dinner, quesadillas he quickly realized, and Yoongi and Hoseok were at the table doing their homework. Jungkook was sitting at the table with them, his construction paper and toddler safe scissors in front of him. He would watch closely as Hoseok cut out a picture from his worksheet and glued it in the right spot, then turn to his own supplies and cut off a piece of construction paper to glue onto a second sheet. "Whatcha doin', Kookie?"

"Homework!" The toddler exclaimed, holding up his 'assignment' with a look of pride on his chest.

"Wow look at this! You're doing so good!" Jin exclaimed, crouching down by the toddler as he looked over the collage of construction paper. "If I were your teacher, I would give you an A."

Jimin then ran into the kitchen, searching for Jin's mother. "Nana, nana, nana!" The four-year-old yelled repeatedly until the woman turned to look at him. "Wanna see what I learned at dance today?"

"Of course, I do!" She exclaimed and Jimin immediately started doing a series of small dance moves they had learned in class that day. Jin had to cover his mouth to hide the giggles that threatened to spill out when Jungkook climbed out of the booster chair at the table and began attempting to do the moves along with Jimin but stumbling over whenever there was a turn.

Jin's mother applauded Jimin as he finished his dance, and Jungkook clapped along, but in more of an applauding himself way. "Alright, Nana needs to finish up dinner, so we can eat." He guided Jungkook and Jimin to step out of the kitchen. "You two too, it's time to clean up for dinner."

"Is Joonie gonna eat dinner with us again?" Hoseok asked, and Jin turned bright red as he felt his mother's gaze on him.

"No, that was just a special occasion. It'll be a few weeks before Joonie comes over again." Jin replied as he followed the boys out of the kitchen, already plotting different methods to dodge the questioning that he knew would be coming his way.
