Yoongi was walking towards the orchestra room for fifth period when he heard Sophia calling for him. He stopped and waited for her, so they could walk to class together. "Ew, you're all sweaty," was the first thing out of the 14-year-old girl's mouth when she caught up to him.

"Yeah, that's kind of what happens in gym." Yoongi responded, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and laughing when she squealed in disgust and pushed him away.

Once Yoongi relinquished his attack, the two friends started walking quickly down the hall to make it to class on time. "I need to ask you something." She asked as they stepped into the room full of students tuning their instruments, dropping their backpacks by the choir risers before heading to the storage room to get their own instruments. Yoongi gestured for her to continue as he grabbed his viola from his claimed cubby. "So, my 15th birthday-"

"Didn't you just turn 14 last month?" Yoongi interrupted her. "Why are you already talking about your next birthday?"

Sophia glared at him as they went back to the choir risers to unpack their instruments. "Because it's my quinceañera and Abuela started planning it the day after my birthday! Now let me finish~" Yoongi held back laughter as he waited for Sophia to continue. "Anyway, quinceañeras are a big deal, however, I got abuela and my mom to agree to not make mine over the top or overly traditional. So instead of hundreds of guests, it's just going to be my family, including some relatives flying in from various places, your family, and then some other friends."

"Then why plan it so far ahead of time?" Yoongi asked, the two of them opting to wait by the risers to continue talking until they absolutely had to go to their own seats.

Sophia rolled her eyes. "Because the family that's flying in needs plenty of time to get here, we still have to find me a dress, book a venue, plan all the food, plus there will be dance lessons, there's just a lot going into this."

Yoongi nodded in understanding before asking his next question. "So, what did you need to ask me."

Sophia smiled, a smile that Yoongi automatically recognized as her 'you're probably not going to like this but you're my best friend so agree anyway' smile. "One of the traditions I'm choosing to keep is having a court, except instead of having like fifty billion girls and guys accompanying me," Yoongi couldn't help but to let out a small laugh at his best friend's obvious exaggeration, "I've decided to have only one chambelán to accompany me." Yoongi stared at her blankly. "A chambelán is like an escort for me. Usually a relative, boyfriend, or really close friend." Sophia's tone of voice was obviously prompting Yoongi to respond verbally, but he continued just staring at his best friend. Her shoulders slumped. "Are you going to make me actually ask you?"

"Yes, I am."

Sophia sighed, giving Yoongi another glare. "Yoongi, will you please by my chambelán for my quinceañera?"
