Taylor Eaton, Namjoon's coworker in the Division of Child and Family Services, although he worked in mental health services rather than as a case worker, asked Namjoon as the 32-year-old took his lunch out of the microwave in the lounge.
"Pretty sure, Tay~" Namjoon answered him, moving to leave the lounge in order to enjoy his lunch alone in his office. "I am officially on break now, so don't bother me unless it's an emergency."
"My definition of emergency might be different than yours though, so don't be mad if I come in there after getting a paper cut!" Taylor called back, making Namjoon laugh slightly as he left the room.
He settled at his desk with the leftovers from dinner the night before just as his computer dinged with a notification for a new email. Namjoon sighed deeply as he turned to the screen, figuring it would be better to at least check the subject line before eating instead of potentially ignoring something important. Upon seeing the sender, confusion settled over Namjoon, morphing into understanding as he read through the email. "Oh, Jin is not going to like this." "I miss my orchestra camp!"
The twins had recently returned home that previous weekend from their respective camps and were obviously struggling to adjust back to their normal summer routine at home. "It's so boring now!"
Namjoon held back a chuckle. "Well the good news for you, Jimin, is that your dance camp starts next week." Jimin perked up a bit at that reminder. "And Tae, school starts in just a couple of weeks, so you only have to suffer for that long." After speaking to the younger of the 13-year olds, Namjoon suddenly remembered the email from earlier and started to feel nervous again, not completely ready for Jin to get home from work quite yet.
The universe was working against him, however, because Jin walked through the door mere seconds later. "Who's ready for Taco Tuesday?" Jin asked as soon as he was inside. "I found this great chicken taco recipe that I'm going to try tonight!" Jin headed towards the kitchen to go ahead and get started on dinner before anything else but was stopped by Namjoon's hands on his hips as the younger tried to tug him towards their bedroom. "Joon, wh-"
