Sammie rushed around the kitchen, filling up her coffee cup and attempting to grab a quick breakfast while Jake intercepted her. "I don't care what you say, that tiny granola bar is not a nutritious meal." The 40-year-old took her chosen breakfast out of her hand before steering her towards the table. "You must eat real food."

"If I eat 'real food' I'll be late to work." Sammie countered, wiggling out of Jake's hold and stealing her breakfast back. "I've survived off of this breakfast for years now."

"Well don't come crying to me when you realize you have many underlying health problems from lack of proper nutrients." Jake teased her as she leaned up for a quick goodbye kiss, happily returning the smooch.

"Remember that tomorrow is grandpas' anniversary." Sammie called over her shoulder as she headed to the door. "I know that it's your weekend with Zoe, but please try to be there on time." Once Jake assured her that he would, Sammie walked out the door and hopped into her car to head to work.

Austin sat on the floor in front of his daughter trying to help her get dressed for the day while the five-year-old talked about a mile a minute. "-and then Mr. Snuffles told Patches that her tiara was ugly, and Patches got really mad and called Mr. Snuffles fat, and that's why they won't come to the tea party today!"

"Oh, my goodness!" Austin exclaimed as he tugged Reese's dress over her head.

"I know!" Reese rolled her eyes dramatically. "They're such drama queens." Austin couldn't help but chuckle at his daughter's words, pulling her forward to press a kiss to her forehead. "Is it grandpas' amobersary yet?"

Austin shook his head. "No, it's tomorrow."

"Good, because I haven't gotten them a present yet." Reese said completely seriously before marching to her arts and crafts corner, already rambling about the picture she's going to draw for them.

"Why don't we go see if your brothers want to make them presents too?" Austin asked after Reese had her arms full of art supplies, the five-year-old nodding happily before following her dad out of her room and into the living room where Geoffrey, Jordan, and her mom were.
