Request:
"Do Namjoon and his sister reconnect and keep in touch after this?"

"I'm hoping you continue to show how joonie and his sister interact."

"Is there going to be like, a continuation of this? I know this was a one-shot but like, are there plans for a "what happens after" kind of thing? Like what did they talk about? Is Kyungmin's husband like Namjoon's parents as in he isn't accepting of gay people?"

"I really hope to see how his sister react to him married with jin and have children and grandchildren."

"I want more drabbles of the Namjoon siblings"

Namjoon sat at one of the outdoor tables at Purple Cow, sipping at his ice water as the waitress stepped back through the door to the restaurant. "Are you ready to order or would you like to wait for the rest of your party to arrive?"

"I'll wait~" Namjoon said with a smile, giving the waitress a small 'thank you' as she stepped back into the restaurant.

A lot had happened in the past 24 hours that led to Namjoon sitting there at that table, starting with stepping back into his husband's office after throwing away their trash from lunch to see his baby sister standing there talking to Jin. After their tearful hug (most of the tears on Kyungmin's part, which she had quickly blamed on her pregnancy hormones), they spoke for a few minutes inside that office until the both of them had to leave, Namjoon to get back to work and Kyungmin to get back to Russellville to pick her children up from their mother's house. Before they parted, the younger sibling had demanded that they catch up to start making up for the past 26 years they hadn't seen or spoken to each other. They had decided to get lunch together the next day, as Kyungmin was coming to town to start setting up her new office and start moving into her new house. Which is why Namjoon was spending his day off sitting at an outdoor table at Purple Cow, waiting for his baby sister to arrive for their lunch date.

"Joonie!" He stood up as his sister arrived, greeting her with a hug after he noticed she was opening her arms for one. "I'm so glad you agreed to do this!" He helped her into the chair across from his before taking his own seat. "I've missed you so much!"

"I did too~" Namjoon said sincerely, nibbling on his bottom lip as he contemplated asking the question on his mind. He eventually decided to, wanting to get it out of the way so that he could just enjoy his time with Kyungmin afterwards. "Why did you never reach out?" Kyungmin looked up from the menu at the sudden question. "If you missed me so much, why didn't you call?"

"I..." Kyungmin sighed, "I wanted to so badly, but I know how Mom would react if she knew that I was even wanting to call you. It took a year before your name could even be mentioned in the house without Mom going batshit crazy." Namjoon rolled his eyes slightly, not at all surprised as that sounded exactly like their mother. "I was planning on giving you a call and meeting up after I graduated, but then I got busy with college prep, and then grad school, and then I had kids, and before I knew it, 20 years had passed by and I still had no idea how my brother was doing or if he even still wanted to see me." Namjoon felt a tug at his heart as his sister's eyes started glistening. "And now I'm starting to cry again, stupid pregnancy."
