The sound of their alarm brought Jin and Namjoon out of their dream worlds. Unlike during the early years of their marriage, the older one of the pair groaned and buried his face into his pillow while the younger one sat up in bed and turned the alarm off. Namjoon looked down at his husband, who had now closed his eyes in order to try to go back to sleep and wrapped himself around him. "Come on, baby, we gotta get up."

"No~" Jin mumbled into his pillow, but still scooted backwards, moving further into Namjoon's embrace.

"Yes," Namjoon said, pressing a kiss to Jin's temple. "The boys will be here soon, and we need to be ready to go." He climbed out of bed and walked over to his dresser where he had set out the clothes he wanted to wear that day the night before.

By the time Jin sat up in bed, Namjoon was already pulling his shirt over his head. "Mom would have loved this cruise~" Jin said, grief spreading through his body.

Namjoon was quick to move over to his husband and encase his face in his hands. "Hey, remember what we talked about?"

Jin refused to meet Namjoon's eyes. "She always wanted to take a big family vacation like this."

Namjoon sat on the bed next to Jin and wrapped his arms around him, welcoming Jin burying his face in his shoulder but feeling his heart break as he felt his husband's tears wetting his shirt. "We all miss her~" Namjoon finally said after Jin calmed down. "But remember, she's not in pain anymore." Jin sat up and nodded, still not looking up. "Hey," Namjoon used his finger to tilt Jin's head up so that they were looking at each other. "She wouldn't want you to be grieving right now. This is a happy time. We're celebrating Taehyung graduating from OT school, Sammie's 9th birthday is this week, and most importantly this is an early anniversary present." The smallest hint of a smile finally appeared on Jin's face at Namjoon's words. "Please try to enjoy yourself this week, I don't like seeing you so heartbroken."

Jin nodded and leaned forward so their foreheads were touching. "I'll try~" He pressed his lips to Namjoon's and it seemed as if his husband's kisses had magical powers because as soon as they parted, it was as if Jin was back to normal. "Come on," Jin hopped up from the bed and tugged at Namjoon's hand. "We gotta do some last-minute packing before everyone gets here."

Yoongi sat at the breakfast table with his daughters, feeding his youngest, Presley, spoonfuls of oatmeal while Sophia finished getting together her diaper bag. "I'm done, Daddy!" Chloe announced, her face covered in grape jelly from her toast.

"Sammie," his eight-year-old daughter turned to face him from where she had been about to walk out of the kitchen after finishing her own breakfast, "would you mind cleaning your sister's face and helping her brush her teeth while I finish feeding Presley?" The oldest of the girls agreed and led her younger sister by the hand into the bathroom. Once Presley was finished with her breakfast, Yoongi wiped her hands and face clean before pulling her out of her highchair, carrying her into the living room where Sophia was making sure the activity bags for the girls were put together. "Okay, handoff time~" Sophia turned just in time to take the 12-month-old into her arms. "I'm gonna wash our breakfast dishes so that they won't just be sitting in the sink all week."
