Yoongi was awoken by something lightly brushing his hair away from his forehead. He blinked his eyes open when he felt someone's lips on his skin, the blurriness going away as Sophia pulled away. "Oh, you're awake~" She was sitting on the edge of the bed next to Yoongi, already dressed for the day. "I'm about to leave for class and I didn't want to wake you up, but I still wanted to give you a goodbye kiss." Yoongi wanted to quirk his lips up in a smile at that but found that he didn't have the energy nor the motivation to do so. Sophia just assumed his lack of response was due to having just woken up. "I'll see you when I get off work tonight~" Yoongi nodded slightly and tilted his head the slightest bit as Sophia leaned down to press her lips to his.

After sharing a few soft kisses, Sophia finally left the apartment, leaving Yoongi curled up in bed alone. He wasn't sure how long she'd been gone by the time he finally mustered up enough energy to roll over in bed, now facing Sophia's side. It was that moment that it became evident to him that it would be a rough day mentally. He stayed in the position, only shifting occasionally when parts of his body began to go numb, for an unknown amount of time, only getting up when the pressure of his bladder became too painful to ignore.

When he got up to go to the bathroom, he managed to find the motivation to grab his phone. He unlocked it and realized that his morning class would be starting in only a few minutes. Instead of rushing to get ready and try to make it to at least a portion of the class, he just stared at the time on his phone, watching as it changed to 11:00. When that happened, he locked his phone back and washed his hands, going back to lay in bed.

He alternated between bursts of motivation to scroll through social media or watch videos on his phone and having no energy to do anything other than stare at the ceiling or wall. He stopped paying attention to the time, silently thanking his piano teacher for scheduling his weekly lesson for earlier in the week than normal. He was in one of his no energy states when he heard the front door to the apartment open, Sophia entering the bedroom only a few seconds later.

"What are you doing here?" Sophia asked as she slipped her sneakers and socks off, sounding slightly worried. "Shouldn't you be in your writing class?" Yoongi shrugged, mumbling his response to where he didn't even know what he was saying. He managed to reach out and press the home button on his phone to check the time, ignoring the worried look Sophia was sending him, and saw that it was in fact time for his afternoon class.

Sophia left the room for a few seconds, returning with her phone in hand as she dialed a number. Yoongi watched her curiously as she began to speak. "Hey, Zach, it's Sophia...yeah, I'm fine, but I'm not gonna be able to come into work today..." A sudden burst of energy surged through Yoongi as he shot up in bed, staring at his girlfriend with wide eyes. "Uh, something personal came up...yeah, of course I'll come in early tomorrow to make up for it. Thank you so much!"

Sophia said goodbye to her manager before hanging up the phone, turning to see Yoongi still staring at her. "Why did you do that?" Yoongi asked, his voice still rough from not having used it all day.

Sophia shrugged as she began unbuttoning the denim shirt she was wearing. "It wouldn't feel right if I left you alone right now, and as you heard, I can easily make up my hours at work." Her skinny jeans came off next, leaving her in just her gray tank top and black panties. "Which means both of our afternoons are now free for a much-needed cuddle session."

She climbed into the bed next to him and snuggled into the blanket, looking at him once she was comfortable with an expectant look. A small smile finally appeared on Yoongi's face as he laid back down, wrapping his arms around her and burying his face in her neck. She returned the embrace, her hand slipping up the back of his black t-shirt and allowing warmth to spread across his skin from the point where their skin came in contact. He gently rubbed his nose along the crook of her neck, breathing in her scent as it both calmed him and brought his mood up gradually.

It was when she maneuvered her legs in between his and began pressing kisses to the top of his head that he was hit with the realization that he wanted nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with her.
