Yoongi entered the apartment shivering, welcoming the heat from his apartment which felt like heaven compared to the January air outside. "Welcome home!" Sophia greeted from the stove, where she was working on a late dinner for this moment, when Yoongi returned from rehearsal.

Yoongi set his viola case and music binder down before removing his coat, hat, and scarf. He padded around the counter separating the living room and kitchen to join Sophia at the stove. "Smells good~" he commented as he wrapped his arms around her from behind, gently pressing his lips to hers.

"Baby wanted grilled cheese, so I decided to go ahead and make some tomato soup too since it's so cold outside." Sophia explained.

"Speaking of baby," Yoongi couldn't help the small smile that appeared on his face as he moved one of his hands to rest of Sophia's slightly protruding abdomen. Sophia had noticed the baby bump the previous week while getting ready to shower, and they both had shed a few tears over fully realizing that they had created a life together. "How is my baby?"

Sophia giggled. "Our baby is good." Yoongi reluctantly let go of her as she moved to grab some bowls from the cabinet, and he moved to grab some cups to get their drinks. "The baby kicked a couple more times after you left, but it's been pretty calm now." Their baby had kicked for the first time shortly before Yoongi left for rehearsal, and he had seriously considered skipping rehearsal that day just to stay home and continue feeling the kicks, but eventually decided he needed to go if he wanted to properly provide for the unborn child. They moved to the couch with their dinner and Yoongi immediately pulled Netflix up on their TV, so they could continue their rewatching of Criminal Minds. "Your dad called-"

"Is he still trying to come to the appointment with us tomorrow?" Jin had been begging to come with Yoongi and Sophia to find out the sex of the baby as soon as he'd gotten over the shock of becoming a grandfather, but Yoongi and Sophia agreed they wanted to keep that specific appointment private between the two of them.

"No, he actually ranted about how his boss wouldn't let him off for it. Anyway, that's not what I was going to tell you." Sophia took a bite of her grilled cheese sandwich to satisfy her cravings before continuing. "He called to tell me that they were looking for a helper in the toddler room, so he talked to the director and I'm going in for an interview Thursday after I get back from lab." Sophia's job at Purple Cow had ended shortly before the current semester began, due to her manager not wanting to work around her school and appointment schedule. She had been looking around for a new job since, but most places weren't willing to hire a pregnant college student due to their schedules.

"That's great!" Yoongi exclaimed, kissing her on the cheek. "You've been talking about wanting to work there for years."

"I'm not working there yet." Sophia responded, scooting closer to him so they could cuddle as they ate.

"Yeah, but you will be soon." Yoongi assured her before finally pressing play on the episode.

"What did I tell you about skipping classes?"

"This class isn't even for credit!" The couple was waiting for Dr. Nolan to enter the sonogram room, and Sophia had just learned that Yoongi had emailed one of his professors about not being able to make it to class that day. "Seriously. It is worth zero credit hours. I don't even know why they have this class if we don't get anything out of it, or why we have to take it."

Sophia rolled her eyes as the doctor appeared. "Are you guys ready to see your baby?"

"Of course!" Sophia exclaimed, rolling her scrub top, still being dressed from lab, up so the doctor could squeeze the gel onto her skin.

"And you are wanting to know the sex?" The engaged pair both nodded their heads, shooting each other small smiles as they waited for their baby to appear on the screen. It finally did, and the OB-GYN got to work showing them the various body parts, such as the head, arms, and legs, and checking over the baby. As she was moving the wand to be able to see the genitalia, a small movement on the screen caught everyone's attention. "Looks like she's waving to you." Dr. Nolan pointed to where the baby's arm was moving.

"Wait, she?" Yoongi asked, and the doctor looked at them.

"That's right, she." She pointed to the screen again. "Right there is the vulva." She looked at them again and smiled. "Congratulations, it looks like you're having a very healthy baby girl."
