Jungkook reached out and turned his phone alarm off, the man lying in bed next to him groaning and rolling over to throw his arm around him. "I thought you were taking today off." Seungcheol grumbled, eyes still closed as he pulled his boyfriend of three and a half years closer to him.

"I am~" Jungkook would close his art school on random days throughout the year whenever he felt like he needed a quick break to recharge and would usually spend those days working on his own art, but not that day. "But I'm hanging out with Jisoo today."

Seungcheol groaned dramatically, clutching his chest like his wounded as Jungkook rolled over to face him. "I can't believe this betrayal. My boyfriend, the love of my life, abandoning me for my best friend. The pain, I can't bear it~"

Jungkook giggled, pressing his lips to Seungcheol's. "You're such a dork~" He mumbled against the older male's lips before connecting their lips once more for a few seconds. "She convinced me to come along with her on her volunteer cuddling trip today."

"Aww, you're gonna snuggle some babies?" Seungcheol asked, watching Jungkook as he climbed out of their bed and made his way to the bathroom.

"Yup~" Jungkook responded, making a popping sound as he stepped into their en suite. "Getting some practice in for when we get a baby of our own." The couple had been discussing options for starting a family for the past six months, ever since Thanksgiving when Seungcheol had played with their youngest nephew, Jarod, and Jungkook had blurted out how he would love to see his boyfriend like that with their own children.

After Jungkook showered and got dressed, he left their bedroom and made his way to their open dining room and living room, boots in hand so he could put his shoes on in there after eating. Once he entered the room, he was met with Seungcheol coming out of their kitchen with two bowls of oatmeal. Jungkook thanked him as he took one of the bowls, both of them sitting down on their couch. Seungcheol turned the TV on and changed the channel to Fresh Prince of Bel Air to watch as they ate breakfast. "Jisoo's supposed to pick me up in about twenty minutes, and we're planning on spending a couple of hours at the hospital. Hopefully I'll be back by lunch time, all depending on Little Rock traffic, and then we can spend the afternoon together."

Seungcheol nodded. "I'll try to finish up my writing before you get home then."

"What are you working on?"

"Yesterday I got an email about a short story contest. We have to choose two classic short stories and combine elements of them to create an original one." Jungkook couldn't help the soft smile that appeared as Seungcheol talked about the contest, loving the passion and excitement that filled the older male's eyes and voice whenever he talked about writing. "As you know, I love me some Poe, and my favorite story of his is The Tell-Tale Heart, so of course I picked that one, then last night when I was falling asleep, I decided that The Yellow Wallpaper would work perfectly with it, since they're both about people being pushed to insanity, you know with the guy unable to handle the guilt of murdering his neighbor and hiding his heart under the floorboards, and this woman being locked up in a room and forced to look at the same wallpaper every second of the day because men were crazy enough to think that was a good cure for post-partum. I have the basis of the story thought out, there will be a wallpaper that has this power that no one knows where it comes from, but anytime someone looks at the pattern, they're compelled to spill all their secrets, come clean about anything they've done. Now I just gotta come up with a full plot and the characters and everything else."
