Yoongi and Sophia climbed up the bleachers to join Jin, Namjoon, Hoseok, and Jungkook for the Tuesday night boys' soccer game. Sammie, who was propped on Sophia's hip, started pointing and grunting excitedly as soon as she saw her Uncle Kookie. "Sammie!" Jin exclaimed in glee as he saw his oldest son, daughter in law, and granddaughter, only to be ignored as the 11-month-old reached past him for the 15-year-old sitting on the bleacher in front of him. "How dare you." He said with a straight face as his youngest son took the baby girl in his arms and cooed at her. "After all I have done for you, the both of you, and yet you betray me like this."

The entire family was completely used to Jin's antics, so they just ignored him, even as he turned and pretended to sob into Namjoon's shoulder. The only acknowledgement coming from Namjoon gently kissing the top of Jin's head as Yoongi asked, "So where's Jimin?"

"Jennie was over at the Jr. High to recruit incoming 10th graders to the Young Feminist Alliance for next school year, so he went to pick her up and get her something to eat. They should be here soon." Namjoon answered as Jin finally sat up and regarded his eldest son.

"You're not wearing blue and white." Jin observed. "Where's your school spirit?"

Everyone in the family was wearing blue and white clothing, even Sammie had been dressed in a blue and white dress by Sophia just for the soccer game that night. Yoongi definitely stuck out in his all black ensemble. "Dad," Yoongi started, and Sophia was already rolling her eyes at him. "I was on the basketball team, and even then I didn't have any school spirit. Not even the tiniest amount."

"He slept through the pep rallies." Hoseok chimed in, so Jin just sighed exasperatedly and turned to face forward, knowing that it was a lost cause.

Sammie eventually got tired of playing with Jungkook's nose and reached out for Yoongi with a cry of 'dada'. It was around this time that Jimin and Jennie arrived, and the game started shortly after. The first few minutes of the game were filled with Jin yelling Taehyung's name and clapping for him as loudly as he could, resulting in his sons attempting to appear as if they weren't related (with the exception of Jimin who was too busy being lovey dovey with his girlfriend to even realize what was going on) and Namjoon looking at him in total admiration. Even though what Jin was doing could technically be classified as embarrassing, all Namjoon saw were the reasons he fell for the man in the first place, his loving and caring nature, his passion, his pure heartedness.

It was towards the end of the second quarter when it happened. Maybe they had blinked or had turned their heads away for a split second, so they weren't sure exactly how it happened, but one second Taehyung was up and running after the ball and the next he was on the ground clutching at his ankle. It didn't even take a second for Jin and Namjoon to be out of their seats and rushing down to the field, the rest of the family following shortly after. Even some of Taehyung's 'groupies' as Jimin called them were following at a distance to see what was going on. By the time they got down to the field, Taehyung's coach had already helped him up and was leading him off the field as he couldn't put any weight on his left foot. There wasn't time for Jin to wrap Taehyung in his arms and dote on him as they were already getting Taehyung in the ambulance that was always on standby during sporting events to take him to the hospital to check out his ankle. There wasn't much discussion either before the family decided that Jin would ride in the ambulance with Taehyung. As they drove off, Hoseok followed the assistant coach to the locker room to get Taehyung's school bag and car keys so that the 17 year old's car wouldn't be stuck in the school parking lot overnight while the rest of the family went to the parking lot to get on over to the hospital, except for Jimin who was going to take Jennie home first before meeting everyone else at the hospital.
