"Grandpa Jin~" Olivia had been tugging on Jin's pants leg for the past few minutes as Jin finished chopping up the lettuce, onions, and tomatoes to go on the burgers they were having for Sammie's 16th birthday backyard cookout.

"Yes, Livvy?" Jin asked in a bright tone, moving over to the sink to wash his hands now that he'd finished putting the vegetables on plates to carry outside. Olivia just followed him.

"When can I go to kindergarten?" The five-year-old had asked that question many times ever since her parents had told her they'd officially registered her for kindergarten the next school year.

"Let's see..." Jin crouched down in front of her after drying his hands. "Right now, it's summer time, and kindergarten isn't open during the summer." Olivia nodded, giggling slightly at the tone her grandpa always used whenever he talked to kids. "When summer is over, then you can go to kindergarten."

"Yay!" The little girl cheered, although Jin would bet his husband that she would be asking again by the end of the day.

"Are you sure you wouldn't rather just stay at Grandpa's school?" Olivia burst out laughing, shaking her head no before running back out to the backyard. "But it's fun there!" A few seconds later, Olivia's screams of delight could be heard, joining in with the other sounds of his grandchildren playing in the backyard. Jin chuckled at the noise, grabbing the plates of vegetables to carry them outside where Yoongi was finishing up grilling the burgers. "Would you like to tell me why my oldest grandchild is not here for her own birthday party?"

"Jake wanted to take her out or something first." Yoongi answered, a very obvious pout gracing his face as he placed the last of the raw patties on the grill to cook. "They'll be here soon."

Namjoon entered the backyard, Daisy on his back as Jimin had just arrived for the party. "Ooh, I gotta go see my baby!"

"He's my baby!" Jarod insisted, glaring at his grandfather as Jin cooed over Sage sleeping in his car seat, almost forgetting all about the fact that the birthday girl wasn't there yet.

Jake and Sammie were originally going to go out to lunch and see a movie, but after seeing how packed the movie theater was, they opted out. Instead they went back to Jake's house for a movie day in his bedroom, paired with endless bowls of popcorn. However, their current activity had nothing to do with movie watching.

Sammie was pressed into Jake's pillows as the 17-year-old hovered over her, the sound of their lips meeting repeatedly filling the otherwise quiet room. Jake had one hand gripping her hip, the other gently caressing her face as he lightly brushed his tongue against her lower lip. Sammie had one hand fisted in his shirt while the other was running through his hair. Jake was being conscientious enough to keep a respectable amount of space between their bodies, but Sammie's teenage hormones obviously did not get the memo as her hips bucked up on their own accord.

Jake pulled away not much later, only leaning back in to press a kiss to the tip of his girlfriend's nose, causing her to scrunch up her face. Jake giggled at how cute she looked before whispering, "I love you~"

"I love you~" Sammie whispered back, leaning up to capture Jake's lips again. She pulled away after a few seconds. "Jake, I want to have sex."

Jake's eyes widened, not having expected the statement that seemed to come out of nowhere. "You do?"

Sammie nodded, then her eyes widened in worry. "Unless you don't. Then I probably just embarrassed myself. I shouldn't have said anything-"

"No, no, Sammie, you're good, I promise~" Jakes assured her, brushing a piece of hair behind her ear. "I just wanted to make sure." He leaned down so they're foreheads were touching, nudging his nose against hers. "I wouldn't want you to end up regretting it."

Sammie smiled up at him. "Trust me, I won't~" They leaned in at the same time for their lips to meet once again, and Sammie's grip on his shirt shifted brush along the hem, pushing it up so he'd take it off.

"What's up with you?" Alessia asked Sammie. The two girls were lounging on Sammie's bed, 27 Dresses playing on her laptop while the two of them split the sugar cookies they had made for their sleepover.

"What do you mean?" Sammie asked, taking a bite of the cookie in her hand.

"I don't know, you've just been extremely happy today." Alessia commented, shifting on the bed to sit up. "Like, you've been glowing or something. And more than just a typical birthday glow."

Sammie glanced back at her closed bedroom door, checking to make sure none of her family members were about to walk in, before turning back to her best friend. "Jake and I had sex."

Alessia spit out the cookie she had just taken a bite of. "You what?!"

"Shh!" Sammie sat up and covered the other 16-year old's mouth. "It's not like I'm trying to announce it to the world here!"

"Well I would if I had just had sex with Jake McDaniel." Sammie rolled her eyes at her best friend still fangirling over him. "How was it? I bet he was amazing considering all the experience he has."

Sammie gave Alessia a flat look. "He had sex, like, three times with his last girlfriend and that's it. I wouldn't call that experience."

"More than you had~" Sammie threw a cookie at Alessia while giggling. "But seriously, how was it?"

Sammie shrugged. "It was nice. Not like mind-blowing or anything, but I enjoyed it. And he was very sweet and made sure I was okay the entire time."

"Did it hurt?"

"A little at first, but it wasn't, like, unbearable or anything." A soft smile appeared on Sammie's face at the memory of what happened earlier that day.

"Damn, I need to get laid." Sammie snorted at her best friend's statement. "What? I'm being serious!"

Sammie shook her head while laughing. "Shut up and watch the movie~" She playfully pushed the other girl before laying back down on her stomach.
