Jin sat at his office computer, putting the finishing touches on the flyer he was making to give to parents to help them with their child's transition to kindergarten. On the couch behind him, a four-year-old boy was whimpering in pain. "Grandpa Jin, my tummy hurts~" Caleb whined, clutching his stomach. He hadn't been feeling well since around the time Taehyung had dropped him off in the morning, and right before lunch was when his teacher took his temperature and realized the preschooler had a slight fever, just high enough that he had to be sent home.

"Don't worry, Caleb, Mommy's on her way to pick you up." He turned his chair around to face the young boy and opened his arms up. "You wanna come cuddle?" Caleb sluggishly slid off the couch and walked over to Jin, who immediately picked him up and sat him on his lap. The young boy nuzzled into his chest as the center's phone rang. Jin reached across his desk to grab the phone, trying not to disturb or jostle the young boy in his lap too much. "Spring Day Childcare Center, this is Jin." He spoke into the phone after answering it, lightly rubbing Caleb's back with his other hand.

"Do you happen to have any openings for children?" The woman on the other end asked immediately.

Jin removed his hand from Caleb's back, earning a tiny whine from the young child, so he could pull up the current roster on his computer. "How many and what are their ages?"

"I have four that will need to be in after school care..." After Jin took over as director, he had decided to expand the center's range to include after school care for elementary and intermediate school students, as that was something that many of the parents of his former students had asked about for years. He was about to tell the woman that they did have room for her children in their after-school program when the woman continued. "And I have a three-year-old, a two-year-old, and a seven-month-old."

Jin's eyes widened slightly about the number of children this woman had but managed to keep the surprise out of his voice as he responded. "We do have openings in each of those classes. What day and time is best for you to come in to talk and see the center?"

"Is tomorrow around 1:30 okay?"

"1:30 is during our naptime. Could you maybe come in around 2:30 or later?" Jin asked.

"Yeah, that'll work. Is it okay if I bring my kids with me?" She asked, sounding slightly worried as if Jin would tell her she wasn't allowed to bring them.

"We actually encourage you to bring your kids so that they can get to know the environment and to make the transition to a new center easier." Jin laughed inside of his head, always finding it hilarious how professional and formal he sounded when talking to new parents even though he's almost the exact opposite. The woman thanked him and Jin added the meeting into his schedule, exchanging a few more words before ending the call.

A few minutes later, Kortni walked into the office, Austin close behind her. "Caleb, Mommy's here~" He gently lifted up the preschooler, who had managed to fall asleep on his lap.
