Alice's adoption wish

It had already been two days since Selena had gotten into a rage with Alice for not being able to let her out at the end of January and Alice had punished her with 20 kg of broccoli that day, after Selena felt all the taste of broccoli she has not spoken to her, nor moved.

-"Selena, you haven't said anything these days, do you need anything?" Alice said as she caressed Selena who was in her womb

-"Alice, she hasn't spoken since you grounded her" wrote Amber

-"My sister hasn't talked to us either Alice, I'm worried" wrote Elena

-"Selena, I'm really sorry for not being able to let you out of my womb, we are in a delicate situation" Alice said while she continued caressing Selena

-"She is still without talking" wrote Elena

Alice felt bad, she didn't know what to do to get Selena to talk, she tried to feel what Selena was feeling at that moment, but she only felt a deep emptiness, but she couldn't think much because she received a call, it was Ralph about Alice's case against Ofelia for intellectual property theft

-"Hello Alice, I have good news, next week Wednesday is your trial against Ofelia Rivas" said Ralph smiling

-"Hello Ralph, I don't know if you should answer me but I would like to know how Ana went with her trial against Ophelia" asked Alice

-"I won the trial of course, Ana will recover her investment in the shares she had bought from Ofelia's companies" said Ralph very proud of his achievement

-"So you feel confident that you can win my trial as well?" Alice asked with great concern as she did not stop rubbing her belly where Selena was.

-"I have every certainty of winning the trial, you will win a lot for the compensation, it is 11 years of theft of intellectual property" said Ralph with great confidence in his abilities

-"Is there anything I should review with you before attending the trial?" Alice asked

-"Yes, I would like you to come with your boyfriend to my office to review the details of the case" said Ralph

-"Then see you this Monday Ralph, I hope everything works out in my favor" Alice said with a worried voice

-"Don't worry, trust Ralph, see you on Monday then" Ralph said before hanging up the call

It was 10 am and Jean was working back in his office, Alice felt very tense because of Selena's inactivity, that made her eat twice as much as usual to feel calmer

-"BURP!! and there goes the twenty-fourth chicken" Alice said as she placed the last chicken bone on the pile of bones on the dining room table

-"Selena, I'm going to eat a lot of strawberries today, I hope it cheers you up" Alice said as she opened the refrigerator to get the strawberries but there was no response from Selena

Selena was in a state of denial and her mind had been suspended, she had gone from being the best assassin in the guild capable of killing anyone and protecting her sister from anything to being a simple and defenseless baby who neither is she able to protect herself or her sister.

Selena only moved once a day and it was just a small tremor, that worried her sister Elena a lot that no matter how much she spoke to her, she did not receive a response from Selena
