Spoilers to Steven Universe and Steven Universe Future... and a Connie rant, sorry.
Yeah, this is the story I was talking about on my Steven Universe Topic Story thing.

RoseTheMagicalFlowerIn case you haven't read the description, this is basically the Steven Universe series, but Steven started with all of his powers, because when he's at that state, he's essentially how powerful Batman is in the Arkhamverse, so that's why it's called Arkham Edition. I was THIS close on naming it Steven Universe: New Game +, but not many people would get it. I also should elaborate on what the description meant about Steven's personality.
Steven does not have the mood of Batman from the Arkham Series, but he has the mental resilience/will power of Batman. In other words, Steven does not get trauma from anything that happens to him, and still is the wholesome kid, but also serious at times, and isn't as enthusiastic about helping others. And to everyone's surprise, this Steven is okay with punching other gems in the face, because he isn't as naive as he is in the canon series.
Some of you might say that Steven being resilient about everything he endured in the series is unrealistic, but I did research, and it's somewhat proven that there is no limit to a human's resilience, and it's surprising how much a person can go through, despite some of their trauma or setbacks. Obviously, nobody naturally has that kind of resilience, you'd have to build it up. So, let's assume Steven had build up his resilience.
Also, he's 16 already, because I like him better when he's not tiny, and he's more effective when he's not tiny (I have nothing against short people, please don't attack me). Also, Connie might be in the story, however, she and Steven aren't in a relationship. Because I feel like she's very toxic entrapping Steven in a toxic relationship.
Not early on in the series, but after the Aquamarine incident, Connie stole from Steven and made him feel terrible for a good while. As well as she hardly apologized for it. I don't think many people caught onto how badly the Aquamarine incident affected Steven.
Steven had to put up Missing Pet Flyers for Lion, because he thought Connie lost him or he just forgot she stole Lion from him, which either way is bad. Connie is basically gaslighting Steven from that, because she is just obsessed with being part of the Crystal Gems and fusing with Steven. It would be one thing if she's trying to prove herself to be just as valuable as a gem in the team, but to be petty and steal his dead mother's sword and pet and put him through emotional wreckage where he kept thinking he ruined his friendship with her just pisses me off to no end.
I swear, I was going to have Samuel beat up Connie in the Telltale Steven Universe, because she honestly deserves to have her butt kicked. As well as in the episode where Steven became a monster, Connie does not acknowledge that she had a part in Steven's corruption. Even though in Growing Pains, where Steven has flashbacks to every horrible thing he witnessed, Connie wasn't there, except when she denied his proposal (which is the only time Connie made a right choice, by the way).
Her stealing Lion and Rose's sword made Steven stressed and depressed like in Future, it's like he did a time jump or something, because his behavior almost perfectly matched himself two years later. And don't even get me started Connie's most dumbest decision ever, getting Steven to dance with her in the Ball room, in FRONT OF THE DIAMONDS! I swear, Connie's only purpose in Steven Universe is to bring Steven down, from the looks of it.
