This thumbnail is just... we don't talk about it.

Sorry if this took a long time to make. I had to take some time off when I was making Batman Meets Poppy Playtime and Batman Arkham Telltale out of boredom. The next factor that contributed with my prolonged writing schedule is because my friend, RoseTheMagicalFlower, had some difficulties in her life.

She's recently had her fair share of bad days and was being absolutely mistreated by some unfriendly online people. It really hurt heart seeing her cry. Please send her some love, she needs it.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Steven and White Diamond were racing to the Bunker. While White Diamond doesn't know who or what's going on in the Bunker, Steven could tell something is wrong if Garnet wasn't answering the communicator. He really hopes that it was just some accident that ended up with the communicator breaking.

However, when they gotten closer, Steven and White could smell fire. Steven glows pink, grabbed White's hand and used his super speed to get to the Bunker faster. He lets go of her when they get to the entrance, but the entrance was blocked by debris.

He can smell and see the smoke inside the Bunker. Steven glows pink again and he punches the debris out of his way, allowing them entry to the Bunker. They both rushed downstairs.

"Garnet?!" Steven called out. "GARNET?!"

The place had broken things scattered along the floor, and fire filling the spaces of what wasn't covered by debris. Steven looked around, frantically looking for his friend. He searched everywhere, he couldn't find her.

Steven was getting more worried about Garnet, the scary thought of her being shattered. When Steven couldn't find her, he fell on his knees, now assuming the worst. If Garnet was still alive, she'd let him know.

"No..." Steven looked up, forcing the tears in his eyes to stay there. He looked down, his fists clenched, his jaw shut tight, his eyes closed. Steven glows pink. "NO!"

[BANG]

Steven plunged his fist into the ground in fury. White Diamond fell over, not because she was startled, but because of the shockwave from Steven's enraged attack on the floor. Steven pants like a wild animal, his teeth bared, his pupils shaped like diamonds, his body heat going almost as hot as a heater.

White Diamond was terrified to do anything. She feared that if she did anything that would slightly set him off, he would attack her out of anger. Steven's temper cooled off just enough to where he realized that he still has Detective Mode.

He didn't realize until he calmed down a bit that he could use Detective Mode to locate Garnet's gems. He put the goggles on to activate Detective Mode and actually found Garnet's gems. One of them was cracked, it was Ruby, but he can fix cracks.

"You're going to be alright." He told them, even though they couldn't hear him.

He kissed Ruby's gem to heal it and he bubbled the two of them and sent them back home, so they're out of harm's way. Steven stands back up, rubbing his eyes and letting out an exhale, as if nothing happened and he woke up from a nap. Steven looked... normal again.
