One Week Later:

While the tapes of Dr. Moonstone's sessions are accurate, the only inaccurate thing about it is that Moonlight's career is over. It was close to over, but Moonlight quickly saved it by pawning her atrocity off as a result of the drug she was given, like a professional politician.

The only consequences of the election night was that Moonlight was disqualified for being unfit for a governor because of her instability from the drug, which is possibly her getting off soft. But Moonlight's popularity dropped like a plane crashing and she still kept her properties. Moonlight kept a low profile, the lowest she's ever been and she used her wealth to keep her name, face and mentions out of the news for obvious reasons.

Moonlight no longer is doing things herself. Instead, she is running orders and commands through Jade and Kunzite. Moonlight is also wearing a mask from now on, to hide her mouth.

Why is she hiding her mouth? Nobody knows for sure. No one has seen her face after the debate last week, and it was normal then.

Moonlight's opponent won the debate by default and is more than likely going to be the governor for this term. Moonlight didn't like that, but she won't do anything about it, not unless she wants to throw away something she almost lost.

Moonlight has an extreme distaste for the rebels for almost ruining her career. She'd find a way to shatter them all if she could. Her assassin days are no longer here, and instead, she'll have to pay someone to do it for her, but if only she could find volunteers.

She's just waiting for Steven and Obsidian to stop them. Moonlight is sitting in her office chair, in the tallest building of Homeworld, excluding the Palace. How does Moonlight get around when she doesn't want to catch public attention?

She doesn't. Once she escaped the asylum, she went straight to this particular building because it has everything she'll ever need. She intends to stay in this facility until the heat of the debate dies down.

She heard a knock on the door, and she put on her mask. "Who is it?"

"It's me, Jade. You have a... unexpected meeting."

Moonlight doesn't recall scheduling a meeting. She felt furious, but kept her composure.

"With who?" Moonlight asked.

"Huge Gigantacus."

Moonlight remembers that name. "Send him in."

The door opens and the humming sounds of Huge Gigantacus' chair was heard before it was even seen in the office.

Moonlight impatiently tapped her nails on her desk. "HG, you have five minutes to explain to me why you intruded my office and what you even wanted from me in the first place, or else I'm going to do things you won't see on television to you." Her voice being slightly muffled

The little man gulped in fear before starting. "Look... Before I start, I just want to send my deepest condolences towards you, for your unfortunate drug-induced incident last week."

"And now, you have two and a half minutes." Moonlight leaned forward, her arms resting on her desk.

Huge Gigantacus timidly approached her desk, terrified of what happens to him when the count down reaches zero. "Forgive me for bringing up the debacle, but I've come here because we both have a common enemy, and I am not talking about Steven Universe."
