Steven Universe... but Steven has all of his powers at the start and he has the personality of Batman from the Arkham Series.
Steven saw the large thing in the sky, and it looked familiar. Steven doesn't recall ever seeing something that huge and can fly. It has water wings, which may or may not be a possible weakness.
Steven saw her face, and then he instantly knew who it was.
"Jasper and Lapis..." Steven sighed, realizing that Jasper must have forced fusion onto Lapis. "Don't worry Lapis, I'll break you two up."
Steven leaped up high to stop them. He bounced off building to building to reach this abomination and then he lands on its back and Steven puts enough force onto this fusion to knock it down to the ground. Steven grew tired of referring to this as it, so he came up with a name for it.
Malachite.
"Jasper!" Steven raised his voice at Malachite like he was talking down a child from doing something immoral. "Unfuse with Lapis before I make you."
"Oh, you'd want to separate us." Malachite said, standing back up while towering over Steven, being just below Yellow and Blue Diamond's natural height. "Because you know how powerful we are!"
"It doesn't matter if this makes you stronger or not, I can and will break you apart." Steven said, being confident in his own ability to do such a thing like it's a mild inconvenience. "I'm only holding back because I don't want to hurt Lapis."
"BRING IT ON, LITTLE MAN!" Malachite roared while creating water fists behind her back to match up with her four big arms.
"If you insist..." Steven said while reaching in his jacket for something.
Malachite tried to hit him with a water fist, but Steven quickly threw a Freeze Blast at it to freeze it in place. Malachite was confused on how her water fist suddenly became stiff and unmoving, and then Steven threw another Freeze Blast at her other water fist to freeze it. Malachite was unbalanced because of the weight of the giant frozen water fists.
Steven glows pink and jumps up high to punch Malachite right in the face while she is distracted momentarily. Steven landed back on the ground and saw that Malachite just broke the ice fists off and just went with a basic attack. Steven did a backflip to avoid being hit.
Steven is going to have to fight this fusion with brute force, and hurting Lapis.
"Sorry, Lapis." Steven said, even though she can't hear him.
