"How are you today?" Steven asked in a dull voice.

"Nervous..." Moonlight nibbled on a carrot.

"Your progress is commendable, you're doing great." Steven's voice was still low, as if he hadn't slept at all last night.

"It's hard to know if you're encouraging me, you lack enthusiasm." Moonlight bit the carrot more.

Steven looked at her, he looked like he was on the verge of a yelling match, and quite frankly, Moonlight isn't in the mood for one either.

"Sorry... Are you going to attend the court?" Moonlight asked, wondering if Steven is going to show support.

"What time is it?" Steven asked.

"Tonight." Moonlight answered.

Steven checked his phone and sighed. "Yeah, I can attend, as long as nothing happens."

Moonlight reached into a bag and grabbed another carrot.

"Have you been feeling ill at all?" Steven asked, examining her body language. "Did you have another episode?"

"No. I think I've been clean for the past two weeks. I'm glad you switched with White, because I don't feel safe around her." Moonlight said.

"Why?" Steven's dull voice went away for this brief moment.

"She's just... It's hard to believe that she's changed... I don't trust it." Moonlight admits.

"It's been a long time since she made the change to the right path..." Steven breathed his words. "It's almost unreasonable for you not to give her a proper chance..."

"I suppose you're right... Besides, you're still mourning." Moonlight bluntly replied.

Steven ignored what she said, he does not want to talk about Spinel.

"I'll see you at court." Moonlight said her farewell to Steve, knowing that this was the end of her appointment.

They both left City Hall and Steven walked home. It was early morning, so nobody was around. Steven opened the door and turned on the lights in the livingroom, so he can see where he was going.

When the light illuminated the room, Steven saw the Crystal Gems, White Diamond and his father waiting for him in the dark until the light exposed them.

"What are you all doing up?" Steven asked, his voice still low and concealing his internal surprise that only White Diamond can see.

"They wished to speak with you." White Diamond answered. "They were worried, and I told them what times you leave the house, so we scheduled this."

Steven gave White Diamond a displeased look.

"Steven, we need to talk." Pearl expressed.

Steven looked annoyed.
