Steven drove the Dondai to the next location that Squaridot had another challenge. He was ready for the next one. Steven drove into another one of those drive-in elevators.

"Well, well, Universe. Eager for more? It's humbling, isn't it? The opportunity to even glimpse my greatness, the dawning realization of just how insignificant, how unworthy of note, you really are? These trials are my masterpieces, Steven. When I have defeated you, they will become monuments to my genius, testaments to your stupidity. Crowds of gems will pack themselves in this elevator, eager to see for themselves the place where the legendary Steven Universe was defeated. They won't understand a thing, of course, but they'll come."

Steven slightly chuckled at Squaridot's arrogance. Steven reached the bottom of the elevator and drove out in the open.

"A trial so elegantly simple that even you should manage a feeble grasp of the premise. You must provide power to this board, Universe."

Steven used Detective Mode to scan the board and saw where the wires connecting to the board were going. Steven could see a pressure plate that will provide enough power to the board, but it required something heavy to be on top of the board, like his car. Steven got out of the car and glowed pink, activating his aura strength and lifting his car up above his head like it was a prop, the one you'd see in the movie sets.

Steven jumped up and landed near the pressure plate, about to put the Dondai on top of it.

"STOP!"

Steven stopped just before he could gently place the Dondai on the plate.

"That's cheating!"

"It is?" Steven asked, confused. "I don't recall anything in the rules about me using my brawn to help me solve the challenges."

"You remember the rules?"

"Mmm-hmm."

"Recite the seventh rule."

"I am not allowed to use the bathroom during the challenges, Ms. Peridot, Ma'am." Steven explained, not using the excessive vocabulary Squaridot is used to.

Squaridot was silent for a brief moment, because Steven actually recited the rule while adhering to her preferred name.

"Recite me the eighth rule."

"Any accidents regarding the seventh rule are considered my fault, Ms. Peridot, Ma'am." Steven answered, shamelessly.

Steven could tell that he was leaving Squaridot dumbfounded behind the speaker, because he knows that she thought he would be too proud to call her by her preferred name.

"Have you hit your cranium hard enough that you've lost what infinitesimal sense and intelligence you had remaining?"

Steven chuckled, still holding onto the Dondai effortlessly and keeping it hovered over the pressure plate. "No."

"Then what is your malfunction?"

"Nothing is wrong with me. I'm just excelling in my humility." Steven's face beamed.
