3rd Person P.O.V.
Peridot was just lead into a room with the cubic hair peridot.
"So, why am I here?" Peridot asked.
"Just sit down and I'll explain." The cubic hair peridot replied and held a little green cube in her hand.
Peridot sits down in the chair provided for her.
"I've had the common brutes place these little boxes all over Homeworld in exchange for Jewels." The cubed hair peridot explains. "The purpose behind these devices is to monitor Homeworld for rather interesting things and record their presence so I can report it to the Diamonds to be paid handsomely."
"How many of them are there?" Peridot asked, keeping note of her master plans so she can tell Steven that they're there and so he can destroy them.
"152." She said. "I have all of the gems who planted them on file, so I can send their information to Moonlight so she can shatter them and tie up my loose ends."
Peridot felt sorry for those gems. "Uh, can I read the files? I'm quite fascinated in this plan." She wants to send them to Steven so he can get the whereabouts of the boxes and to bubble these gems so they're safe from Homeworld's greatest assassin.
"Sure." She allowed Peridot to step forth and look.
Peridot secretly downloaded the files on the secret computer in her visor.
"This is quite intriguing." Peridot said.
"Thank you." The cube hair peridot said, grinning in pride. "I'm glad my protege shares the same vision as me."
Peridot blushed, because she thinks that this gem is viewing her as a student. Peridot excused herself and went to contact Steven in private.
Elsewhere:
Steven was standing on top of the Homeworld Communications building. He got a call from Peridot.
"Peridot?" Steven greets.
"Steven! I have unfortunate news!"
"Surprise me." Steven said, not fazed by Peridot's exclamation.
"The peridot I'm working with has little devices all over Homeworld to monitor the planet, obtaining information to sell to the Diamonds! She can and possibly will sell out our friends to the Diamonds!"
"Just what I need. Another gem to worry about." Steven sighed. "It's going to be a long night for me."
"I'm sending you the files of those who were involved with planting these devices. She's sending Moonlight to assassinate them so she doesn't have loose ends. Knowing you, you would interrogate them and then bubble them to save them."
"Moonlight is dealt with, but I'll still bubble them regardless. Less gems to deal with." Steven said. "I've acquired some gadgets to help me with tonight. I believe I can find all of these boxes and put an end to her operation."
"Just be careful out there. I'd hate for the Diamonds to be prematurely notified about your presence on Homeworld."
"Thanks for the concern, Peridot. May I see a visual of this peridot?" Steven requested.
