3rd Person P.O.V. 

White Diamond shrunk down to her smaller height and stands on the table with Spinel while Yellow Diamond was observing them both from above. 

"Spinel!" White Diamond exclaims. 

Spinel yelped in fear and backed away from her. "Don't punish me, please!" 

White Diamond backed away, not just because Spinel was doing the same, but because White Diamond hasn't received a reaction like that in a long time. You'd think White Diamond would be used to it by now, with all the looks and remarks she gets during her transition of being a better Diamond, but no, it still pains her all the same. 

Even Pink Diamond's playmate is scared straight of her. Though, it's probably because Spinel is undoubtedly bewildered because the last thing she remembers is dying after being told a joke from Steven. Speaking of Steven, he'll be... well, nobody knows how he'll react to this.

But right now, White Diamond needs to give this pink spaghetti affection and reassurance, something she should've given Pink Diamond, better late than never. 

White Diamond took careful steps close to her. "Spinel..."

The jester slowly looked up at White Diamond. "Yes, my Diamond...s?"

She just noticed that Yellow Diamond was still staring at them. 

"Spinel, are you okay?" White Diamond asked, even though she already knows that answer.

"Where's Steven...?" Spinel frantically looked around. "He's not here, isn't he?" 

"No." White Diamond replied. 

Spinel sulked again. "Great... Just great... I was foolish enough into thinking I could be better... but, alas, I wasn't good enough..."

"Spinel, that's not it at all." White Diamond stepped in, showing a bit of assertiveness but not enough to scare the little gem. "Your remains were being transported around."

"Huh...?" Spinel's eyes widened.

"Steven kept your shards in his room and--"

"WAIT! I WAS IN HIS ROOM?!" Spinel panicked. 

White Diamond flinched at Spinel's outburst. She turned around and looked up at Yellow Diamond. 

"Can you give us a moment?" White Diamond requested.

"Sure..." Yellow Diamond was shocked to see Pink Diamond's playmate after so long, she looked different.

White Diamond looked back at Spinel. "Yes, you were in his room. I suppose he was wanting to keep an eye on you? Or maybe he wanted to discover how to repair a broken gem, and intend on bringing you back himself? Anyway, you were stolen by Huge Gigantacus. But I retrieved you back." 

"Why did he steal me...?" Spinel asked, using her inside-voice now. 

"Because he wanted to bring you back... and then shatter you again multiple times." White Diamond answered, a bit bluntly, which only scared the gem.
