3rd Person P.O.V.

Little Homeworld:

"Come on, Universe! You gotta run faster than that if you're gonna catch me!" Spinel jeered at Steven, who was slowly losing her, because his body was tiring out.

What was really weird for Steven is the fact that his body was wearing out too easily. He was better than this, to be tired after a five minute run. After running for a good while, Steven tripped and fell, wheezing on his hands and knees while regaining his breath.

Spinel looked over her shoulder and stopped running when she saw that Steven tripped and fell. 

"What's wrong, Stevie? Cardio's good for ya!" Spinel mocked him while jogging to him.

Steven panted, sweating dripping off his nose and chin. Spinel confidently walked next to him and crouched down next to him. 

"Are you really tuckered out already? I expected a lot more than just a two minute fight and some runnin', but this is really embarrassing, even for you." Spinel spoke, as if she was a causal buddy with Steven.

Steven backhanded Spinel with his arm, making another squeak sound from her head. 

"Well, I see there's still some fight left in ya." Spinel rubbed the side of her face before kicking Steven over, causing him to fall on his back.

Steven groaned. His heart was pounding and feeling like it was going to explode, and now, he feels like he's in a boiler room wearing winter clothes. 

"Your human half won't stand a chance against my injector. Not after what I just did to your gem~!" Spinel taunts in a singsong voice. 

"What are you talking about?" Steven said, sitting up and getting ready to attack Spinel.

"You weren't always a powerful hero, were you?" Spinel started laughing like a maniac after that.

Steven quickly rose on his feet and tried attacking her, but she turned her feet into springs and jumped up high enough to evade Steven. He waited for Spinel to come back down, but he believes that she probably used her stretching powers to make her arms in a hang glider or something like that to make her fall down somewhere else safely. Steven still felt weird, after losing his powers to whatever she used against him. 

That scythe wasn't just a scythe. It was either a special-made weapon just for him, or Spinel looted this type of weapon from somewhere else. She also has Huge Gigantacus' freeze ray, which she most likely stole from him.

There's no way she bought it from him. But how did she manage to steal it from him? Steven intends to find out how she managed to do that when he finds the little man.

Steven turned on Detective Mode to check himself, and was surprised to see what he saw.

Condition: Deceased.

Steven felt his heart drop when he saw that text. He turned off Detective Mode and turned it back on.
