The Bunker:

Steven wasn't sleeping again tonight. He won't rest until he makes sure White Diamond won't tamper with his dreams. He pondered what to do to pass the time, since sleeping isn't an option anymore.

The communicator in the bunker was blinking red, someone was calling them. This had to be one of the other members of the group, considering only they know about the bunker and that someone was here to answer the call.

Steven held up the communicator and pressed the button. "What is it?"

"Hey, it's Bismuth here. I got some inside info about Homeworld's plans."

"Go on." Steven said, intrigued.

"There's a popular gem amongst the community by the name of Moonlight and she's meeting up with someone not from this world. He's giving her and the Diamonds weapons to help them fight us. I'm told that he's rather a short man, like, very small."

"How bad is it?" He asked.

"I'm not sure. But maybe the others know? My guess is that if the Diamonds are taking weapons from him, he must be selling the good stuff."

"I should stop him from giving them the weapons. Where can I find him?" Steven asked.

"I don't know. Sorry."

"That's okay. I'll find another way. Thank you for the information." Steven hung up.

"Call Peridot." Garnet said. "You'll find a lead."

Steven knows better not to judge Garnet's judgement when it comes to going on the right path, because of her future vision. He used the communicator to contact Peridot.

"Peridot. What's the latest?" Steven asked.

"I'm glad you asked. The Diamonds are striking a deal with some little man to obtain weapons from him. In exchange, he gets compensated and some planets."

"Where is he?" Steven wanted to know as soon as possible.

"I don't know, but I do know someone else who does. She's at Homeworld's Tech Company, alone. A little intimidation will persuade her into telling you everything. She's a green, skinny gem. I think her name is Jade."

"Thanks, Peridot. I'll check it out." Steven said before signing off.

Steven went to the exit.

Garnet put a hand on his shoulder. "Do you want me to accompany you?"

Steven looked over his shoulder. "No, thank you. I think I can handle traveling around Homeworld on my own."

"You don't even know where to go." Garnet said, reminding Steven that he is at a disadvantage due to him never being on this planet before and tonight being his first day, or night, on this planet.

"I'll figure it out." Steven said, determined to find it on his own.

"Go south for a few blocks, then turn east. You should see a giant glowing sign that has the word 'Tech' written in our language." Garnet instructed him.
