I think Arkham Steven is probably the best Steven there is, in terms of power and mental stability. I mean, if there's a greater one, I haven't seen him. 

Also, this story reached over one thousand reads! Yay, I guess.

3rd Person P.O.V.

Steven was nervous. White Diamond knows he's the son of Pink Diamond, based on the recent file he just listened to. It was also dated an hour ago, which means that the next one would possibly be White Diamond telling Squaridot that he's Pink Diamond, unless White wants to toy with her.

Steven could tell that Squaridot was genuinely taken aback by the Riddle. He went to find more informants, so he can find more devices, so he can acquire more audio files. He's hooked on them.

Sooner or later, he'll get all of the devices and there'll be nothing left for him. Hopefully, he gets the satisfying conclusion he wants when he collects all of these files. He found another informant, he will interrogate her for more devices. 

He grabbed her by the throat with one hand, you know, the usual. 

"I know you're associated with a peridot that had you hid some devices. Where's the locations of these devices?" Steven asked, his voice sounding hoarse due to his dehydrated tongue and throat.

"Y-You've got nothing on me. You can't prove it." The informant said, showing smug resistance.

"I don't need to..." Steven said, his skin glowing pink and his eyes narrowing. "Now, WHERE IS IT?!"

"Don't! Don't! I'll talk! I'll talk!" The informant begged for mercy. 

Steven plunged his elbow into her throat after she finished telling him the locations, which poofed her. Steven bubbled her. He went to collect more of the devices.

Before collecting the most recent one, a hologram appeared from the device, showing Squaridot.

"What are you doing?! These devices aren't for you!" 

"I don't like you spying on me. And I will continue to remove these until there is no more." Steven said, determined to find them all.

"Spoken like a neanderthal. Not surprising, considering that you're human." 

"Just wait until I get my hands on you... Then, we'll see just how smart you are." Steven threatened her before she signed off and he destroyed the latest device.

Steven unlocked another audio file. 

"There's no way she's still alive!"

"What would I gain for lying?" 

"Well, where is she then?"

"Ah, but that would be ruining fun for you to solve the riddle, wouldn't it?" 

"But, White, you must tell me! I implore you!"

"Really, peridot? According to your deluded logic, your intelligence is superior to a Diamond. Therefore, if I can solve this riddle, it must be child's play for you."
