I just love making thumbnails with Steven and Spinel in them. They just make it a hundred times better

3rd Person P.O.V.

Obsidian had been standing in a position so long, a good scoop of snow is on her shoulders. Then, she saw something that grabbed her attention. It's a stand, one being run by a strange humanoid creature.

Obsidian quickly glides over to it. She read the sign on top of the stand.

"'Cookies?'" Obsidian could hardly believe that someone is selling cookies on Homeworld.

"Do you want one?"

Obsidian looked at the owner of this stand. "What... are... you?"

"I'm Bathia." She points at herself. "I'm a bat-monster."

"A bat-monster?" Obsidian reiterates. "How did you even come here?"

"Little Homeworld." Bathia answered, with slight shivering. "I've attempted to sell cookies here after my little success in that small town." Then, Bathia sniffed the air. "You don't smell like a human."

"That's because I'm not a human." Obsidian replied.

"Are you going to purchase one or not?" Bathia asked impatiently. "I'm making a living here."

"I don't carry any currency on me." Obsidian said.

Bathia rubbed her dripping nose. "Then you're wasting my time."

"You're already doing that by trying to sell 'cookies' on a planet where nobody needs to eat." Obsidian replied.

Although, I'm certain Samuel would like a 'cookie.' White Diamond thought in her head.

"Actually, I'll take three 'cookies.'" Obsidian reached in her pocket for Jewels.

"But you just said you don't carry money." Bathia replied, confused.

"Well, I lied." Obsidian admits. "That way, I don't get robbed."

"Smart." Bathia smirked. "However, I don't just sell cookies, I sell other desert items, like cake, cupcakes, donuts, lots of well-known pastry items."

"Hmm..." Obsidian contemplates purchasing other items.

I remember seeing in Spinel's mind that she once considered trying a pink-flavored 'donut' on Earth on Valentine's Day. White Diamond thinks. And I suppose I can give one of those 'cupcakes' a try.

"Do you have a pink-flavored 'donut?'" Obsidian asked.

"You mean a donut with pink-frosting?" Bathia asked. "Um, I think so." She reaches in her container. "I do."

"Add that and a 'cupcake' to the three cookies." Obsidian had trouble pronouncing the items correctly, so she imitated Bathia's pronunciation.

Bathia charged her and gave Obsidian the food items. Obsidian grappled away onto the rooftop she was temporarily residing on. She took off her mask to reveal her true identity, White Diamond.

White Diamond stored the cookies and donut in her gem for safe keeping, and to keep them warm. She held her cupcake in her hands, inspecting it carefully. She sniffed it, smelling the frosting.

She licked the frosting, tasting the sugary contents before getting a great distaste in the frosting. Too much sugar in the frosting.

"Yuck!"

She used her finger to slide the rest of the frosting off the cupcake and it fell on the snow. She then dipped her finger in snow to wash it off. She took a bite out of the cupcake.
