This is the last non-chapter thing that I'm doing for a while. The point of the death scenes in the Arkham games is where when the player dies, the enemy stands over the player's corpse to taunt them. Usually that's how it works.
Here, it's going to be the same thing, but it's right before the moment Steven dies. What this means is the last thing Steven sees before he dies is his enemies standing over him and they either mock him or hurt him just before death. Yeah, this entire part is going to be about gems talking to an almost dead body.
I've also did the dialogue different just to make it feel more like an Arkham game, just for this one.
White Diamond [Before being an ally]:
#1:
The giantess walks to the body with her hands behind her back.
White Diamond: Homeworld has become your tomb, Universe.
Steven died upon closing his eyes.
#2:
The giantess crouches down.
White Diamond: So this is where my Pink has been all these years.
Steven closed his eyes and died.
#3:
The giantess scoops the body with her hand.
White Diamond: Now to free my Pink from this meat-sack.
She used her long nails to pinch the gem on Steven's body.
White Diamond:
#1:
White falls onto her knees, tears going down her face.
White Diamond: Oh, no, no, no, no! This can't be right! This isn't happening! Get up, Steven! GET UP, PLEASE!
Steven closed his eyes as he took his final breath.
#2:
Checks his pulse, realizes there's no pulse and starts doing chest compressions.
White Diamond: Come on! Come on! Wake up, Steven! WAKE UP!
Steven couldn't breathe anymore and died.
Blue Diamond:
#1:
She sighed.
Blue Diamond: Another deceased specimen at the Human Zoo. Such a waste.
Steven's eyes closed after she walked away.
#2:
She looked down and gasped.
Blue Diamond: I liked this one... Oh, well...
She walked away without a care as Steven took his last breath and died.
