After our breakfast, we looked at going outside to play some football. I had never played the sport before, so it was on me to sit on the side to watch and learn. Y/N sat down beside me and tried her best to explain everything as the game progressed by pointing out certain stances and explaining the rules of the game. I was still confused, but it was fun to watch the Belmonts against my brothers and the constant bickering that came from it.

"You know," Simon shouted, "normal people would go down if I hit them that hard!"

"Not my fault you hit like a baby girl," Leone snarked.

"Set yourselves up for the next play before I lose a boot in your asses!" Richter blasted.

"I've got this one," my father said with a chuckle.

Still sitting by my mate, I marveled in the fact that my father had his hair tied back, knelt down and smiled like he was truly enjoying himself. My mother sat nearby cheering him on, a huge smile on her face and hands pumping into the air. Simon and Leone faced off against each other smirking with animalistic glee as both saw the other as their future felled opponent while Leo and Hugue knelt in front of each other saying as little as possible.

In a flurry of movement I watched as the two groups of people launched themselves across the ground, one set trying to take the other down before they could runaway with the ball. Grunts, laughter and heavy footsteps accompanied the swift movements across the cold ground, Y/N beside me laughing at what she saw, her father running down one side of the lawn following the action and the eventual loud whistle that signaled the end of the play.

After the game, we all went in and picked at snack foods while trying to play a few of the games that Y/N brought. I couldn't believe how competitive my brothers had become when facing off with the Belmont boys, but I realized that, somehow along the way, it seemed that a tradition of Tepes versus Belmont had been born during our time in the past and was now being carried out by them all now. From football to Uno to Jenga to Yahtzee, every battle seemed to be a contest between the two families while Michael and Gregory sat overlooking everything even as they participated.

"I can't believe we've been sitting here playing games this whole time," Gregory pointed out, genuinely looking pleasantly surprised.

"Are you guys hungry?" Celeste asked. "We could always make something up really quickly."

"I'd love to," Y/N said as she yawned, "but I have to get home, get a shower in and get to bed. I have a class really early in the morning for a final review before my exam on Wednesday."

"You have one last exam?" Allen asked. "I thought you were finished with that stuff."

"Nope," Y/N laughed. "Just because I was gone for nearly a year to me and Adrian here, I'm actually at the end of the semester and taking final exams for my Graphic and Advertising Design degree. This last exam is in a class that I technically haven't attended for nearly 15 months, so I thought it would be a very good idea to brush up on what I need to relearn for the exam." She laughed even harder by the time she finished speaking, a sound that warmed my heart every time I heard it.

"Are you sure you don't want to just stay here?" Allen asked with a pout. "You know we have the room here, and I would love to have you with me a little bit longer."

"I would stay here, but my clothes are filthy and there's a bunch of supplies that I need for class that I would have to get up extra early to go get. Truth be told, Dad, I couldn't actually tell you where everything is that I'd need for it, so I figured it would be good to dig it all out tonight before going to bed."
