Simon P.O.V.

I have to admit I had quite a bit of fun sitting in a room full of women, even when I became the butt of a joke or two. I couldn't remember the last time I'd just sit around and chat with people over silly things like cat videos and funky looking toes (Michael has one toe that just freaks me out a bit). And having Y/N sitting here making inside jokes made things even easier to be around the others. We had our own bits to laugh about that everyone would stop to ask us about, but the two of us kept them to ourselves.

The vibration of my phone in my pocket got my attention although I couldn't for the life of me figure out who'd want to talk to me. Everyone who wanted to was sitting right here in this room that smelled of drying nail polish and cinnamon rolls, so who could possibly want anything outside of here was a mystery. Looking at the screen, however, brought up the idea that my father was still out there doing gods only know what.

Father: What are you guys up to right now?

Red-head Menace: Sitting around painting our nails and watching movies

Father: You're painting your nails?

Red-head Menace: Actually Celeste did it for me, but yeah

Father: I'm not gonna ask

Father: I need you to do something for me

Red-head Menace: What's that?

Father: I need you to discreetly ask Adrian and Y/N what kind of furniture they'd like

Red-head Menace: Furniture? WTF are you guys doing?

Father: Don't ask questions and just do it!

Father: It would be better if you could find a way to save a list

Red-head Menace: I'm sure I can come up with something

Clearing my throat, I got everyone's attention.

"I have an idea for something fun to do," I began. "I was thinking it would be fun if we could get a sort of wedding registry going, you know, if there's something you want to have for your apartment, or just kind of a wishlist of sorts."

"That actually does sound like fun," Lisa said happily, Y/N and Celeste nodding their heads emphatically.

"I know of a website called MyRegistry.com that you can set up," Reggie said excitedly.

"What's that?" Adrian asked.

"Its a site you go to when you want to make a wedding registry that isn't at just one store. You know like if you see something on Amazon or eBay or something like that, you have to add it to a watch list or wishlist only on that site. This one allows you to go to any and all stores you can think of for all sorts of things to give people ideas of what to get you."

We all watched as Reggie took control of the computer and typed in the web address. The webpage opened up on the TV screen for all of us to see and the amount of stores available on the site was a bit staggering, but definitely was all-inclusive as Reggie had touted. You could get anything from bath salts from Bed, Bath & Beyond to hunting equipment from Cabela's and put it all on one list, and this would definitely make it much easier for others to get to and find a gift.

"I can set up a simple account so everyone can get to it," Reggie said, "and then we can pass out the website and password to the others later so they'll be able to reference it for wedding gifts, too." It wasn't too long before we'd begun building Adrian and Y/N's gift list when I made mention of what my father had asked me to do.
