Alucard P.O.V.
Walking through the forest near his home, Alucard gathered food for his dinner. From time to time he would halt his progression through the foliage to enjoy the birds singing their songs or to hear the wind blow through the leaves and tall grass. Feeling a bit melancholy over recent events, he paused his quest to find food in order to bathe in the pond a short distance away.
Stripping himself, he drank in his surroundings. The slight chill in the air that brought with it winter's warning reminded him that he needed to forage for his winter's stock. Fish moving under the glass-like surface of the pond drew his gaze while he watched them glide freely from place to place.
He dove into the water not knowing how cold it truly was. Being the half vampire he is, his body doesn't get cold easily, but it still feels the chill. He quickly shot up and broke the surface gasping not onlyf or air, but with the surprise from the cold.
"Oh, fuck! That's cold!" she shouted. "I should have brought water back to the castle instead." He quickly got out of the water and pulled his pants on, deciding to sit on a rock up high to dry himself in the sun. He looked around the clearing trying to enjoy the scenery, but found his mind going back to the memories of his "guests".
The pain of their betrayal still haunted his dreams and made him wonder if he could trust another human. The scars from their attack still remained carved in his memory just as they had been only recently given. This often angered him beyond his normal calm demeanor and had him flying into rages unlike anything he'd ever experienced...and that frightened him.
After getting dressed, Alucard picked up his baskets and made his way back to the castle to await the end of another day filled with anger, loneliness, fear, and regret.
'Trevor....Sypha...where are you? Help me....please?'
