"Don't tell them yet," I begged. "I don't want this to become yet another thing everyone discusses around me instead of with me." I could feel Adrian nestling his nose in the crook of my neck and placing gentle kisses along the flesh there. He nodded his head in agreement.
"You're right," his voice came through softly. "And we don't want to startle you or make you even more upset than you already are with the wedding preparations. Its not good for you."
"I know," I said aloud, "but that rice and leek porridge is smelling pretty damn good right now."
Adrian chuckled, "Does the baby want some porridge? Does she?" I smacked his shoulder and giggled while he turned to grab the dish for me. And, just as I'd thought, that porridge was awesome. I couldn't stop myself from finishing the whole bowl and wondering if there was any more.
"Do you want me to go get you some more?" he asked. "Or do you feel well enough to come back downstairs?"
"My headache is gone for now, but I'd like to take something for it before I go downstairs," I said. "Only reason I'm thinking it is because I have to switch over to acetaminophen for pain, and I know for a fact my dad would be suspicious if I don't take anything stronger. I want to get ahead of the next one before it comes."
"You have been getting headaches a hell of a lot more often in the last couple weeks," Adrian remarked as he retrieved the bottle of requested medication. "Maybe that was the sign and neither of us knew what to look for." I took a couple of the pills with the water I'd been brought, stood from my place on the bed and wrapped my arms around Adrian's middle.
"Perhaps," I agreed. "Now remember, no one hears about this yet."
"As you wish," he said with a smile. He led me down to the dining room where everyone was on pins and needles to see how I was doing.

As soon as I saw Y/N come down those stairs I could tell whatever had been wrong was finally gone. It scared the shit out of me to see her fall to the floor like that earlier. I can honestly say I had no idea just how stressed she'd been over the past couple of months. The fact that she'd been running at pace with me and Gregory was part of that reason. She genuinely looked as though she'd been having the same amount of fun as we had, but I guess we didn't take into account all the other things she'd been dealing with on top of that.
"Are you feeling better, Glowworm?" Allen asked as he rushed to her side. Doting Daddy...activated.
"I'm ok now," she said with a small smile. "I've still got a little bit of a headache, but that porridge you guys sent up was delicious. Could I have a bit more?"
"Of course you can!" Ryan shouted happily, rushing into the kitchen to fill another bowl.
"You actually like that stuff?" Leone asked. "It looks like runny oatmeal."
"There are benefits to runny oatmeal, Leone," she said with a smirk. "Butter, cinnamon and sugar. 'Nuff said." When the bowl was placed before her, Y/N launched herself at it at ate with gusto. It seemed as though the bowl had barely touched the table before it was empty and Y/N sat back satisfied. A small burp was heard and she sat back rubbing her belly like her body were that of the Buddha and she was rubbing the belly for luck.
"Did you even taste that?" Gregory asked on a laugh. "I mean that was some straight up David Copperfield shit right there."
"Now you see it," Ryan chuckled. "Now you don't."
