I read and reread the book to make sure my timing was accurate before I opened up FaceTime to Lisa and Vlad. Checking the dates and times everything went down was just a part of it. I had to go back and see whether or not anyone else had been on site before finalizing where everyone would be.

"Did you find anything else?" Lisa asked.

"I looked through Hector's book and found the same information," I said, "only with his, he added the date."

"I remember that we were supposed to be moving to another country and decided to check on Sypha one last time before heading out," Vlad mentioned. "We hadn't had our second child before then, but I also have it written down that the Speakers had left for their usual roaming for the summer."

"At least that part about them was something to count on," Lisa chuckled.

"And here in Isaac's book it says 'The Speakers left two weeks ago for their summer missions' and 'they shouldn't be back until winter makes it's threats'."

"That sounds about right," Lisa said. "While I was still human, the Speakers were just fine with me. They told me all about how they would go from town to town all through the summer and then help with harvesting and the like during the autumn because they could often get foodstuffs when they helped out."

"That's smart," I remarked. "Even for wannabe clergy."

"I don't know if you can call them wannabe clergy," Vlad said with a laugh. "They weren't interested in stabbing me through the chest with a stake, but they would avoid me like the plague as long as they could."

"Either way, they won't be there for a good three months. That means as long as you two are out of the picture, we should be good."

"We've already figured out how to get the Mirror out of the house without Y/N knowing," Lisa said gleefully.

"How'd you manage that?"

"We appealed to our son's better nature and told him that we'd take it so they wouldn't be tempted to use it." When Vlad said that, I burst out laughing. I knew Y/N and Adrian had fought off the idea of using the Mirror on a few occasions (one time being when Y/N graduated with her Graphic and Advertisement Arts degree), so it wasn't too far fetched to use that as an excuse. I just didn't think the pair of them would be that ruthless about it.

"I've started getting things together on my end," I said. "I've got a few places where we can get some of the tables we need, some tablecloths, napkins and an order for the place settings for the reception."

"I have a friend here in town that will perform the wedding," Vlad said. "He won't be too much trouble since I can erase his memory of everything he sees."

"I had a better idea about that," Lisa offered. "You know Richter is an ordained minister, right?" That shocked the shit out of me. That beast is a minister?

"How the fuck did he manage that one?" Vlad blurted.

"You know you can become a minister by taking a course for it online, right?"

"He's an online minister?" I asked.

"No," she laughed, "he's a real minister, but he learned everything online. He has a real certificate that says he is a licensed minister."

"I never would have figured him for that," I admitted, the idea still not settling on my mind.

"Oh yeah! I remember seeing that!" Vlad recalled. "I thought it was a joke." He and Lisa then began chattering back and forth over the validity of the piece of paper, later vowing to check into it.

"Have you started helping Y/N with her dress and things yet?" I asked just to get the two back on track.

"We're going in to look at them tomorrow," Lisa said. "We're getting Reggie to come with us as well, so we'll probably make a day of it."

"I've got the keys to their apartment," Vlad added. "I'll stop by there to grab the Mirror and then the two of us can get your supplies together and take them to my study."

"Why your study?" I asked.

"The study is one of the only places that Trevor, Sypha and the Speakers don't have access to. Y/N and Adrian set it up that way just in case they needed to grab anything off the shelves or needed to save papers and the like. They made sure you couldn't pry it open or break it down to dig though sensitive documents and mementos."

The three of us conversed for a couple hours, chatting about everything from favorite colors to place settings, flowers and seating. Lisa had her own personal notebook that she took notes in, making sure to ask Vlad and me what our opinions were and how we would like to see things done.

"We should probably let Allen in on all this," I mentioned.

"No!" Lisa shouted uncharacteristically loud. I jumped at the sheer volume of her response as well as the swiftness with which it arrived. My hands automatically sought out my ears even as I turned my eyes toward her in question.

"Sorry," she said with a sheepish look on her face. Realizing it was safe, I removed my hands to hear her reasoning.

"Allen is unreliable when it comes to keeping secrets," she said finally. "It was one of the very first things we learned when we met him. He's a very sweet man who would do anything for his daughter, but he can't be trusted to keep his mouth shut if he gets excited by a surprise."

"Ok, so we're definitely waiting to say anything to him," I said on a laugh before turning back to the books to ensure the dates were correct so we could execute this plan. I knew Y/N and Adrian would be touched by this idea, and I couldn't think of two people who deserved it more.

A/N: Its getting closer to the date! I've been working on getting things fleshed out for the chapter ahead of time and so this is where I pose a question to you readers:
