Daphne's POV:
I walk into my apartment building and take the elevator up to the fourth floor. I unlock the apartment door of my best friend and partner and enter only to be met by five familiar faces, one being my partner. I shut and lock the door behind me.
"Let's make this quick, I have to get ready for work." I say, crossing my arms.
"That's why this meeting was called." Comes a voice from the phone sitting on the coffee table.
I instantly recognize the voice of Captain Kehlani Parrish of the local precinct.
"Have you made any progress?" She asks.
"I haven't done anything but serve drinks. My boss said he's saving me for something big."
"And what do you think that is?" Lauren questions.
I lock eyes with the green eyed detective. "He has a target or should I say targets. His boss, the real head of the operation knows one of my best friends is the secretary to our lovely district attorney." I look at Ally. "He knows I've met both Ally and Lauren on multiple occasions. He told my boss to have me invite them to the club."
