Chapter 4: Ceremony

I proceeded heading inside the gym where the ceremony will be held.

When I tried walking through the gym's entrance, one of the student council members stopped me from entering.

They Looked at me with faces that say's what is this weirdo thinking/doing wearing clothes like that specially at the entrance ceremony.

Normally student's who just entered high school want to look as nice and neat as possible to make a good first impression and wearing my phantom attire and my hair doesn't really gives the same feeling like that.

They asked questions relating to my outfit and in the end, they ended up confiscating my sword.

After the interrogation was over I entered then tried to find a chair that I can sit on throughout the entrance ceremony.

During finding a seat, it took some time finding one because every time I asked if the vacant chair is available they would always reply it's already taken.

I took it as just a coincidence, I wasn't aware that they don't want to be seated next to me.

The mic and speaker turned on. A teacher not visible on the stage asked for everyone to stand up. 

As we now everyone standing in the gym, a girl with black long hair walked in the center standing right in front of the podium.

She tapped on the mic testing the sound if it was on. She then held the microphone close to her mouth and.

"Welcome freshmen to Hokkyokusei High School..."

She gave out a speech marking the start of the opening ceremony.

And so the entrance ceremony ended smoothly with a few(a lot) of stares drawn to me from people around who were also in that said ceremony.
