Chapter 7: More Than Three Months Has Passed

[Three months has passed]

As I pass by the crowd, people treat me differently. A person that they try to avoid as if trying to avoid something troublesome.

"Why do they let someone like that in school, I'm surprised someone our grade still hasn't grown out of his 8th grade syndrome yet"

"Hey, you also got into your chuunibyou face back in middle school didn't you?..."

"I know, but it didn't get that far..."

"Yeah, guess you're right. It's kind of creepy that he's going to that extent"

One pair of student whispered behind my back as I pass through the halls.

"Look at his clothes, he wears them everyday. Does he even wash them?"

"It probably smells bad by now"

Another pair of friends said.

Actually, I made multiple modified uniforms that looked identically the same. It was because characters from an anime and animated shows in general usually doesn't change how they dress.

I sat on my chair as I usually do all by myself.
I put my hands together in deep thought.

"Sigh..." nothing is happening.

I said with a serious look on my face.

It has been more than three months since school started. Everyone is now comfortable with each other and form their own circles of friends in that time span.... Except I was excluded in that comfortable feeling.

Because my introduction was skipped, I didn't get my chance to tell them that I'm Phantom, the shadow hero.

Should I introduce myself again?... No, it will deteriorate my already failed introduction and will look much less cool of a shadow hero.

I was conflicted about approaching them, however, there's no shadow hero that would just suddenly approach you and ask if you want to be his friend. It would look like the same gag with the muscular guys with the smallest voice.

How disappointing.

"Sigh......"

I gave out a long sigh about the current situation.

At first I was all exited on starting my new journey [A.K.A. beginning of new high school life] but so far nothing has happened.

I thought it would be fun because, in anime, exciting stuff usually happens in high school

However, that's not the case.

I was really expecting something major, something like the appearance of an ally to walk the dark path with me in my lonely journey or a foe that will threaten the world that I have to face to prevent him from conquering the world.

So far, nothing has happened... maybe their hiding?...

I was wondering where all the events are. What's taking them so long?

I placed my hand on my chin.

If you think about it... it all make sense now...

Back on the entrance ceremony, no one's seems to be getting closer to me. Even the other students seated next to me looked nervous.

Maybe their already afraid, shivering on the corner knowing I, Phantom has already entered school campus.

Ku ha ha ha... as expected of myself.

...But I can't be sure just yet.

The same time, back then, there are people laughing behind my back. That is only what an eminence villain would do. But there's a lot of them... So maybe they're a cult?.... Now that I think about it, one of the student council was also laughing. So is the student council controlling the school behind the scenes?!

I should investigate this further... that is what I was supposed to do if only they wouldn't confiscate my sword... Wait, maybe that was all part of their plan all along?!...

On the first day entrance ceremony

I was walking around with my sword (model sword) until...

When I was about to enter the gym, one of the student council member confiscated my sword saying it was not allowed in school campus.

"Hey!, that's not allowed on school campus, and what is that clothes you're wearing?!"

The student council member confiscated my sword but of course I didn't go down without a fight and retaliated.

We were pulling it back and forth for the sword that I refused to hand over... but in the end, I gave in because I'm afraid it might brake [because it was just a model sword after all].

They gave it back afterwards when school was over though... But they gave me a warning...

"If you bring that thing again we'll have to confiscate it permanently"

Well played student council, you used the rules as an excuse to take away my power. Kukuku, you almost had me fooled acting like a normal student council. [Because they are acting like a normal student council.]

But I still dont get why people avoid me... hmm... are they afraid cause I am Phantom?

[They were just trying to avoid him because he's troublesome from the way he dress and act. He's more of a real delinquent at this point]

Hmm... what could the reason be?

While being totally clueless that he has become ignored by the class and thought they're just afraid of him for the reason that he's the so called "Phantom" for the past months.

The school ended without anyone approaching me again.
