After shaking hands and accepting Hitedoshi Fumidai's request for a match. We then proceeded to talk about how the judging of the duel would be decided on.

70% of the points would be coming from the selected judges. That would be Hitedoshi's manager, another guy I don't know, and ...wait, isn't that the principal?!

The other 30% would be coming from the public's opinion that would be relayed trough an app.

I'm not sure what's all this preparation was for, but things had become bigger than I had expected. All I could feel right now was, it's exhilarating.

He really went all out in this challenger roleplay. He even provided this huge stage to make it look even more dramatic. Only a few people I know could have pulled this off.

All I could tell from this was that Hitedoshi Fumidai must be really, like really really rich! to have this much expendable resources.

I've met a lot of crazy people before with money but this guy almost take the cake in flexing his wealth.

Moving back to explaining theough how the duel will commence. Hitedoshi said that.

"We will be competing in two categories. Both challenges compliments the fields where Haruka-san is expert at."

"And that is, dynamic body movement and voice control."

Dynamic movement and voice control? Those traits. ..Those character traits are definitely a chuunibyou's!

What Fumidai meant by that was the categories of dancing and singing. He just chose those words so it would sound a bit cooler.

However, I related it to being character traits of being a chuuni as it was the only thing I could ever think off.

So Funidai really was a chuunibyou himself. Hm hm.

I nodded to myself and concluded that Hitedoshi Fumidai must really be a chuunibyou.

"The reason why this categories are chosen was to decide weather or not one of us is worthy to stand along side Haruka-san as equals. A type of person who reigns on top. Not like someone like you know's that feeling though. Huh."

Fumidai sighs arrogantly with the thought 'this guy is not on my level' attitude.

I think I'm starting to understand the setting now.

The setting for this duel is to decide who should be crowned as the strongest. Haruka-san is set as the ultimate goal that we must conquer. And the winner of the battle means they are worthy to climb to the top to reach Haruka-san's level.

A/N: Just like Ais Wallenstein for Bell Cranel in Danmachi.

But why is Haruka-san is set as the goal though. Was she actually very strong in her chuunibyou form? Well, it's just roleplay so it doesn't matter that much. I guess.

"I see..."

I just agreed thinking I get the full picture for this duel.

"Well then. May the best talent wins."

Fumidai glared at me with confidence in his eyes as if telling that he will not lose.

The mic then switch over to the announcer/commentator. Giving the signal that the show was about to begin.

The cameras turned on and the broadcasting team on station went live.

"Hey hey folks. A special event is happening right now. I hope every body is watching because. A battle between two unexpected individuals is about to begin!"

"Who do you think will win? Hitedoshi Fumidai, the young rising talent. Or is it the boy with the mask over there who goes by the name Phantom. Let's all watch together and fing out!"

The commentator announced with enthusiasm as a professional on his job.

He even rented out an announcer? ...Rich people sure are something...

I was just there happily thinking about everything was just play pretend in a grand chuunibyou roleplay.
