I left to go back to the classroom while senpai stayed behind to wait for a little longer for the weird guy to come.
I did go back to my classroom. But actually, I just drop off my lunchbox at my desk and will come back soon after to catch the spy and pretend to be allied with them as the misunderstood shadow hero.
I'm now on my way back to the secret base(rooftop) to catch the spy.
Student's who were walking on the halls earlier are now gone as lunch break is now almost over in just a few more minutes.
As I was about to reach the stairs leading to the rooftop, there was a person walking down in that said stairs.
When I took a closer look it was Shiori Senpai.
Isn't she walking a little slow?
Is what I though seeing her walk slowly slightly leaning on the wall supporting her balance.
"Sen-"
When I was about to call out to her, the next thing that happens suddenly... It looks like she went off balance and about to fall.
But why is she falling that far away? did someone push her?
[Accidentally jump horizontal to the ground making the fall further]Could it be, the spy?!
At that moment different thoughts come into mind(Chuunibyou situations)
But before I can process all that, my body has already moved independently on it's own and came rushing to senpai's aid.
I rushed forward and got to the spot where President Shiori senpai was falling and spread out my arms preparing to catch her.
"Senpai!"
Senpai who had her eyes closed opened. The first thing she saw was me having my arms wide open preparing on catching her.
I looked at her with a serious and determined look the was set on catching her.
Gulp. Senpai who was hesitant for a moment decided to place her trust on me as it was the only thing she could do at that given moment.
She spread her arms wide ready to be caught.
As we collide with each other, she got a hold of me hugging while I embrace her tightly wrapping my left arm around her waist and right arm on her head protecting her from any potential head injury.
Thankfully I caught her. However, catching her wouldn't be enough to make the momentum to a complete stop So I also fell on my back along with Shiori senpai.
"S, senpai... Are you okay?"
I asked while senpai's laying on top of me having her eyes closed, still shaking from shock.
Luckily it didn't hurt as much because my body isn't necessarily weak by any means. But if senpai were to take that fall on her own, she could probably brake a bone or at worst, a serious head injury.
"Sen, pai...?"
Shiori senpai opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was my face.
Her head is leveled to my chest so our face is relatively close to each other at the moment.
"Are you alright?"
I asked again because she still haven't given me any verbal response.
When she finally came to. She sat down on top of me as I still lay on the ground. Then she held the collar of my blazer tightly as if finally catching something she was looking for for a very long time.
She looked at me directly in the eyes and said.
"I caught you(My prince)"
She said seemingly happy with hearts on her eyes and a grin on her face.
"You caught me(Phantom)...?"
She caught me...? Sigh. And just as I thought my disguise was doing so well too...
As expected from the leader of the student council. I guess there's still room for improvement on disguising as a perfect side character.
Bell Rings*
The Bell for next period rang which means lesson will be now be resuming.
