Chapter 73.5: Revelation Set Up

If you have already guessed it by now. Yes, I set up the room to be arranged in this way.

I was going for this ominous and mysterious Mid Boss vibe. Like the sudden appearance of a mysterious character with unclear intention and purpose.

This room is an old classroom that no longer being used that was turned what it is now. A storage room, where we keep extra desk, chairs and the likes of such.

It is rare for anyone to come by here so this is one of few perfect places to execute those shocking revelation scene in an isolated private place set up.

Conveniently enough, because of the lack of maintenance of this place, it gives of this vibe of being empty and alone which is the mood I was going for. Ominous and menacingly secluded.

Now, all I have to do was to make the scenery of the place to make it all perfect.

I moved around the furnitures and stuff and arranged it in a way so that it would help highlighting the centerstage.

In the center of the room, I piled a buch of desk. All so I could stand on top of it setting up for that having the high ground feeling representing my superioriry, as I disinterestedly look down at my confronter as if looking down at someone insignificant.

There was also a sofa stored in here so I thought, if I put it on top of the desk and sat on it, it could apply as a throne room like asthetic, ading more character to my overall menacing superior shady shadow hero character vibe.

So I stacked it on top of the desk to have that unreachable mystrious person sitting on a throne aesthetic uplifting further that having the higher ground feeling.

The selection of the room's mood atmosphere wasn't much of a coincidence either.

This room is specially dim from windows being blocked by thick dust making it hard for light to pass through. The same goes for the curtains.

In fact, everything inside the abandoned room is dusty. It really gives that abandoned/isolated/inruins feeling which is recomendable in this type of scene, ominous and menacing.

Because of the windows and curtains being so dusty. When the light hit it just right. It forms this rays of light adding more to the mood and overall asthetic of the place.

I also slightly opened the windows to leave a small gap for the afternoon breez to enter. So the curtains would move a bit on the background, just to have that flutering curtains on the backgroud effect. Because, why not?

I opened the center window just in the right angel to shed a spotlight on the center where the stacked desk and sofa are placed. It was to highlight my figure as I menacingly sat there on the top while looking down at the person below.

Now, all she have to do was to enter the room and show her the scenery I set up and execute my shadow hero revelation scene.

The revelarion of what you thought was just your regular clasmate, was actualy the one mysterious character named Phantom. The one who moves in the shadows, and the one who controls the shadows.

What I plan to do for this scen was to reveal my identity as a Hero who moves in the shadows. And the end goal being to deliver the lines "Do you seek power? I can give you power."

After I finished arranging everything, I sat on to position waiting for Mocha-san to enter the room.

To notify her everything was set and are ready for her to enter and see. I spoke just loud enough to let her hear me behing the walls in my menacing shadow hero character voice.

"I alreary know you are there, show yourself."

I said in an arogant and intimidating tone.

Is she still there?

I was getting a little worried that what if Mocha-san decided to leave already.

She was hesitating on the other side finding her resolve to enter the room.

And then. Mocha-san entered.

She actually entered!

I wasn't actually sure if she would enter so I'm glad that my set up wasn't all for nothing.

So she got the hint that I want her to come. Huh.

[Hint: Evil smirk.]

The evil smirk that I did last second before entering the room was the equivalent of a wink, but in a form of a taunt.

I was hinting at I wanted her to enter the room because I have something planed for her. And she actually did just that.

This is going to be fun.

I grind sinisterly and shift my face into character and spoke in deep and ominous tone.

"So tell me, girl named Mocha-san. Which is it that you seek."

With that, I finally deliver the lines I was anticipating for.
