Chapter 17: He's just an introvert?

We were waiting for the owner and the staffs to finish setting up the set like lighting and the camera and stuff while Haruka and I sat on the bench waiting for them to finish.

I kept my mouth shut and didn't talk at all because I'm still practicing normal language inside my head.

Then Haruka-san tried to brake the ice by making small talks.

"So Saito-kun, why did you decided to take on this photoshoot?" Haruka asked.

She's my partner so it's okay to tell her right?

"To be honest, I'm not good at talking to people" [He means talking normally without his chuunibyou dialogue]

I said while fiddling my hands holding back my Phantom self. Haruka took it as me being shy.

Is he an introvert?... I see, the reason he joined was so he could get exposure from this. I see...

"How about you talk to someone in your class so you can gain experience? You know what they say. Practice makes perfect. Do you have any close friend or two in class you could talk to?"

"No"

I definitely shouldn't have said that (ノ_-'). He's definitely an introvert.

"That's why. I want to change" To fit my role as the perfect shadow hero.

"What do you mean by change?"

"I want to be cool" as a shadow hero.

I see... He's a boy after all.

Haruka seems amused and at the same time disappointed for my reason to change.

"Saito, Haruka, everything is all settled. We will stat taking photo shoot"

Just finishing my small talks with Haruka-san, Muscular Salon Owner called for us for the photo shoot that is now about to begin.

"Saito. Let's go!"

"Y-Yeah"

She grabbed my hand into the spotlight and...

And so we took our shots that I thought would only be normal pictures but latter will be found in a monthly magazine at the day it publish.
